K1 Visa Fee

Hello Everyone,

I have a question for K1 visa fee.

Our Document is being at US Embassy in my Country, Vietnam, Hochiminh city. It hasn't delivered to us yet. However, we did DS160 online and also send back Ds160 confirmation, copy of passport and Visa photos to Us Embassy in Hochiminh City. ( we followed step 1 in the instruction)

So, I wanna ask Can we continue to create a bank account and pay the visa fee or we have to wait until receive the package 3 from The Embassy?

I already paid the visa fee, then I already scheduled the interview online and called to set up the physical examination.

Even though until now I haven't received anything from the consulate in HCM yet.

I haven't sent the DS-160 confirmation, passport copy and passport photo to the consulate yet.

By the way GreaceAndStiffany, how do you know the consulate already received your packet? I have been kept track of your timeline and my timeline because we are very close. I don't know how to find out if the consulate receives my case yet or not.

My fiancée send email to Embassy for asking them. You can call to Us Embassy in your city or you can send them email. They ll reply you did Have they received yours yet. And they can give you a link of The Instruction, it can let you know all things that you have to do

What is the HCM embassy email?

For calling, my fiancee tried to call US embassy in HCM, number (84-8) 3520-4200 but there was no "human" answering the phone. There was only machine voice instructions on other subjects. I tried to call number (703) 665-7250 from the US but got no "human" either.

They ll answer immediately or just wait for a few hour!

You have to go into IMMIGRATION VISA and the K will be in there, not non-immigration visa. That is the confusing part. I don't know why.

Hahaha....

I sent them email already but haven't received anything yet. Probably tomorrow.

For the payment, after setting up the account, I got the Cash Deposit Instructions sheet with an CGI number in it. I emailed it to my fiancee. She printed it out and went to a post office with her passport and paid there in VND. We then had to wait until after 12:00 o'clock noon the next day to log in again and everything went through automatically.

Hope to see you in Sai Gon if you're lucky enough to schedule your interview on Nov 21.

Congratulation,

Look like you've got the Package 3. To my understanding Pkg3 is just the instruction, it tells you what to do, nothing else, no paper, no form. You just follow the link to read the instruction online and follow whatever it says (like, send Consulate the DS-160 confirmation page with bar code, copy of fiancee passport, and fiancee passport pictures).

The important thing is the letter. It should be the Interview Invitation Letter inviting you to the interview. When my fiancee called Cho Ray Hospital to make physical appointment, they told her we can make the appointment OK but we'll need the Interview Invitation Letter from the Consulate and bring to the physical examination otherwise they'll kick us back home. They told my fiancee that the Interview Invitation Letter should contain your case number HCMxxxxxxxxxx, and your appointment date/time. Is that what you have in the letter?

Could you provide me with some detail information on the letter. I am nervous waiting for it too.
