I  had my interview on March 20 at the uscis Washington DC field  office in fairfax. I received the email update 03/31 that I was in line for oath and on 04/07, another email that oath letter was mailed and I received the oath letter 3 days later.

Hi @Stacekaya , do you live in Virginia? I think it takes longer if you live in DC because DC only does oath ceremonies once a month.

I pass my interview today but was giving the from N 652 a decision cannot be made. the FO did told that everything look he just need it make sure all the papers was in order. i did sign the 2 pieces of paper also he say that he will make he decision by 3pm today

Interesting, I also got the N652, but in my case my interviewer told me that he is recommending me for approval but that now his supervisor has to approve it as well. Not sure what that means.

Congrats! I had my interview the same day you did. I'm yet to receive the letter and my status online says I'm in line for the oath ceremony..... Now I'm getting worried.

Oh, I don't even have "in line for oath"! Mine still shows "Interview Was Scheduled" and hasn't changed since 2 months ago.

 

Are you also checking at:

Hi Guys, just received a notification that Oath Ceremony Notice was mailed. I interviewed at Fairfax on March 20th, online status changed to in Line for Oath Ceremony on 4/12 and just now it says Oath Letter is mailed.

Yeah, getting very impatient but trying to stay calm!

 

But it seems unfortunately 1 month or even up to 3 months is not that unusual as a waiting period.

 

But if I don't get anything by May 1, I think I will call them just to check that there is not something unusual. (That will 1.5 months since the interview for me).

 

I actually know someone who had to wait more than a year after their interview because their ex-wife submitted some documents opposing their citizenship, and the kicker is that they didn't even know about it until they asked about it!

 

What a nightmare!
