Hey All,

I hope you everyone is doing well. I got my Finger Prints done on the 19th of October and my status still hasn't updated. Just wanted your opinion guys whether its a good idea to book an appointment with Dallas Field Office via infopass or not?

Have you called 1-800 numbers to speak with L-2 recently? They told me before that infopass might not have info for me about my fingerprint. But if you don't live too far from field office, you may want to try infopass. I became U.S. citizen on 12/21. I went on their online case status to check last night, and as of 12/22, I was in line for interview. That said much about how non accurate their online info is!

Have you called 1-800 numbers to speak with L-2 recently? They told me before that infopass might not have info for me about my fingerprint. But if you don't live too far from field office, you may want to try infopass. I became U.S. citizen on 12/21. I went on their online case status to check last night, and as of 12/22, I was in line for interview. That said much about how non accurate their online info is!

Yes I have called USCIS and they don't have any updates and they asked me to basically not call them anymore since they have no updates for me. I live in Dallas and I am not too far from the Field Office. I booked an appointment with the Field Office and its on the 10th of Jan.

No update here....still seeing the FP massage in the website.

I've tried calling but Dallas office seems to be very unhelpful.

Hopefully will receive a letter in the mail with interview date. I think Dallas office is very busy and nobody bother to do updates regularly. I am not in Texas and I can't schedule an infopass as a right now. Will wait patiently, what else to do... I am seeing a lot of people already did their interviews or at least know their dates. I really hope to receive a interview letter by the end of December. I have planned trips to Europe for next year and finger cross I will be a citizen by then. Good luck to everyone, thanks a lot to all the people In the form. You guys are big help.

Hi Vicky, although I'm not a Dallas filer, I have been in line for over two months now. We're in the same waiting boat.

It is also kind of discouraging, as I see people in the October thread that have had their interviews and notice for oath date.

got my interview letter. It was posted from Missouri.

Along with GC, they are asking me to bring marriage certificate, tax statements for the last 5 years! Just FYI to all.

Have updated my dates.

Wishing you the best! I'm not sure if the online case status is 100% reliable. It's not reliable in my case- not sure if it's because my case was expedited. My online status was stuck at "fingerprint appointment was schedule" for 2.5 months. It was changed to "in line for interview" on 12/22- a day after I became U.S. citizen. That's very crazy.

Wishing you the best! If you don't live far, infopass maybe a great helpful source for you. :) 1-800 numbers can be a hit or a miss. I called several time when I was trying to figure out where my case was. But they weren't that helpful. They told me to contact the Senator's assistant since they couldn't access the info shared between the Senator and the field office.

We got my husband's oath letter yesterday! It's scheduled for Jan 17. His interview was 12/15/16 at the Dallas field office.

Husband's Naturalization Journey: (NBC number)

9/2/16: N-400 mailed to Dallas office via UPS Ground
9/6/16: Arrived to office per UPS tracking
9/14/16: NOA1 received in mail (dated 9/6/16)
9/21/16: Biometrics notification received in mail
10/6/16: Biometrics completed
11/10/16: Notification for interview received in mail
12/15/16: Interview ("Recommended for approval")
12/20/16: In line for oath ceremony (online status)
12/27/16: Received oath ceremony letter in mail
1/17/17: Oath ceremony
Hubby is now a US citizen! :) 133 days from NOA date to Oath Ceremony

We got my husband's oath letter yesterday! It's scheduled for Jan 17. His interview was 12/15/16 at the Dallas field office.

Wow! Your husband's processing time was very quick. Did you guys see any other September filers at the interview? I sent in my package on 23rd of September and got my FP done on October 19th. No word/update since then. Your husband applied in September too. Glad that he was able to get through this process quickly. Did he apply after being resident for 3 years?
