Thank you.

When you call 1-800 numbers, it will directly be answered by tier 1 officer. In order to speak to L-2 officers, you will have to ask L-1 officers to transfer your calls. Some do but some don't. If they don't, just simply hang up and call back again. You will eventually get some L-1 who are willing to transfer your call to L-2. It's not guarantee that your call will be answered by L-2 right away once it's transferred. Sometime, with the high call volumes, you will have to leave your name and they will call you back at the number shown on their record! Good luck!

Your field office did not have same day oath?

According to their website they do have same day oaths, but for whatever reason we were not offered that. Maybe too many applicants, or the timing wasn't right? We did hear an oath ceremony going on while we were waiting for the interview. The office did seem extremely busy with interviews while we were there, and my husband described the interview as rushed, like the officer was just trying to get through it as quickly as possible, so they might have a back up of applicants.

Congratulations! Mine will be on next Wednesday! I'm so nervous!

My husband was really nervous too, but afterward he said it was much easier than he expected. The questions were very basic and straightforward yes/no questions, and mainly just verifying basic info in the application like current address, etc. We assembled and organized so much documentation (he applied by marriage), but they didn't ask to see any of it! Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Hi,

I would think so. My file has been arc FO for a month and they still haven't scheduled me.

My friend called 1-800 numbers and did INFOPASS last year. They told her different things. 1-800 number officer told her that field office scheduled the interview but the INFOPASS officer @ field office told her that NBC scheduled the interview. It's very confusing. To this day, my friend and I have no clue which one actually schedule our interview.

One thing I know though, the field office do have time slot of 30 minutes per each interview. Hope you all will get your interviews scheduled soon.

Thank you so much! I have lots of paperwork with me too! Which field office did your husband go to? Not many field offices do offer same day oath. I know your interview have to be done before some certain time if they offer you to join the oath ceremony! My interview and oath will be on the same day but the field officer told me that it has to be done before 11am. Mine will be at 9.30am!

We went to the Dallas TX field office in Irving, TX. How did you know in advance that your oath will be on the same day? We went today having no idea if he would have his oath today or not. Good luck again for your interview!
