Congrats to the ones who got interview scheduled! I'm going bananas here :/

Thank you. I hope you will get your date soon! One thing I found out is that my file took a whole month to get to Pittsburgh, from NBC. They requested my file on 10/14 and called me to schedule my appointment on 11/16. That's very long time frame!!!!

I spoke with a tier two today. She told me my file has been at field office sine 11/16... I see that my office is processing cases from march 16 as of September 22. I am incredibly stressed!

I'm pretty sure they're all behind. I'm guessing that there's a few cases from that period that haven't been resolved yet(suspected fraud or something) that holds those quoted dates back. I wouldn't rely on them at all to accurately base your timeline off of.

Thank you! I'll just keep on waiting. It has been seventy-three days since I put my papers in the mail. ?

what happens after the 90 days? (if you haven't been scheduled for an appointment?

I think if it's been ninety days after last action taken we can put in a service request/acct inquiry. But really, it can take up to a yer from the first notice! Edited by A&M21

On another website, people said USCIS informed them that they won't do anything until it passes 180 days (6 months). Unless you are stuck in the name check, the whole process should be done within 6 months- depending on how busy your field office is. If you are stuck in the name check, it can take longer than one year. There's a gentleman on another website who's stuck in the name check and finally got his interview schedules after waiting for 14 months.

It's never a dull moment dealing with USCIS!

I assume all checks are cleared once an individual is placed in in line for interview.

Correct! Once you are in line for an interview, you are cleared from background check. But the wait time depends on how busy your field office is. I read the Ombudsman report, which suggested that whatever time frame USCIS put on the website isn't reliable and I certainly agree with them.
