Thank you. I hope the same to. Best of luck to you as well. I know how anxious we can be. I stop worrying about it and just enjoying my volunteering time working with students at schools. That helps me so much. At least I don't go crazy checking my case status all day long since I can't check it anyway. L-2 officers & the lawyer told me that my case won't be processed through NBC any longer since the congressman got involved since the second week after I filed! I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Eventually, I will get the citizenship when the time comes.

Best of luck. My friend know someone who used to be a liason in DC field office. They said it all depends on each field office. Some FOs take longer time than others because they process more cases, e.g. Philadelphia VS. Pittsburgh. Though they are in the same state but those whose field office is at Philadelphia will take longer than those whose FO is at Pittsburgh, mainly because of how many cases they each receive.

Well, now I just feel stupid. I was relying on the text message and did not occur to me I could actually look for the case status. I should know better.

Anyway.. I just checked and I seem to be in-line as of October 25th.

well I'm starting to feel like the sucker that's getting left behind as I'm STILL staring at the "your biometrics appointment has been scheduled"

I called yesterday and they had no updates, then I called the FBI, and they can provide a written confirmation that your background cleared along with a copy of the background..... in 12 to 14 WEEKS!!!
