N-400 September 2016 Filers

Here's what I used. Was helpful, along with N-400 document checklist from new form cos they ask for slightly different things than older version.

Yes both marriage certificates (gone down that road twice) and death certificate first husband and divorce papers second marriage.

i know

i going to try to walk in today to get my FP done but I forgot my Green card i do have an old one in wallet. i know in the notice they say to bring the green card to the appt. but it is ok if i bring my old card ?

That's awesome! Wish you a good luck! I'm still waiting for hear from Pittsburgh office. They said they have received my completed biometrics and will contact me back once my file reaches them from NBC. I called L-2 officers twice and spoke to an immigration lawyer I know. They said it's mean my background check is cleared but the weird thing is that my case status hasn't been updated as of today! It still shows "fingerprint was scheduled". It makes me worried!

Thank you for your kind word! Yes, patient is a key! Now the kids and I just try our best to wait for my citizenship by enjoying time with our love ones here coz we'll move to Germany for 2.5 years after this ordeal is over.

Thank you! I hope your case will move fast too. From what I understand, if we aren't given IOE numbers, we should be good because there's a huge backlog on IOE applications. The L-2 officers I spoke with today [super nice] told me that they have received nearly 1 million applications this year due to the election.

Yes, my husband was sent there on last Tuesday for his assignment [almost 2 months earlier that the original date]! But the kids and I are still here waiting for my US citizenship! We supposes to be there until May 2019. Hopefully they will move us back here unless they move him somewhere else.

Keeping you in my prayers! I pray that my case will go fast and smoothly too. Being an on-duty single mom to 3 small kids [10, 7, 5] isn't fun for me. LOL. But I'll more likely survive waiting for citizenship than being on the plane for 11 hours with 3 of them. LOL

LOL is not fun. i have 3 children also (just turn 18,12.10). i have fly for 3 hour with them and let me told you by the time we land i was ready to hit the bar and i don't drink LOL
