Yes. They stamped and signed on my fingerprints appointment letter. They said to keep it as an evidence that I got it done. Actually, I found out that my fingerprints were completed [cleared from checking] last Thursday when they contacted me back for my expedite request. They did fingerprints check and name checks.

I am about to file N400. Mine is Employment based 5 year rule. On the N400 instructions it says, following need to be submitted along with N400

1. Photographs.
2. Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card.
3. Photocopy of your Current Legal Marital Status Document.

But on M-477 for Document Checklist, it says

1 photocopy of both sides of your Permanent Resident Card
2 identical color photographs,
3.A check or money order for the application fee

I would appreciate if someone who have recently filed N400 using new format of N400 based on employment green card 5 year rule, what documents you have sent?

Should i have to send photocopy of your Current Legal Marital Status Document even though mine is Green Card Employment based 5 rule?

1- 2 passport pictures with green card # on back and name and date of birth

2- copy of my marriage certificate

3- copy of divorce papers

4-photo copy of the both side of my green card

5- money order for $680

some people send their tax return but if not required

I did mine based on 5 years and sent same as you plus tax return 2015 and repayment plan cos that was the first time I owed (don't take out 401K to pay for surgery!) and my first husbands death certificate. That's all the form asks for (the new form, cos that's what i used) oh and I also typed out a little cover letter stating everything that was in there and put little sticker tabs on everything. I followed suggestions from the USCIS website on how to mail forms to them.

Here's what I used. Was helpful, along with N-400 document checklist from new form cos they ask for slightly different things than older version.

Yes both marriage certificates (gone down that road twice) and death certificate first husband and divorce papers second marriage.
