I noticed a couple mistakes on my DS-156 I had printed off. I went back online, redid the form, hit continue, then noticed I missed a question. I HIT BACK.....fixed it and printed again! Realizing each time you fill the form it gives you a new barcode.

HAVE I TOTALLY THREW EVERYTHING OFF??????????

I did email the consulate to tell them of my mistake, but I'm not sure if that will help.

Does anyone know if they go by applications filled just online, or if they go by the applications in hand??

2006/12/12: I-129F NOA1 (Receipt)

2007/02/22: I-129F NOA2 (Approved)

2007/03/06: Package Left From NVC

2007/03/21: Rec Instructions (Pkt 3)

2007/03/27: Pkt 3 sent to Montreal Consulate

2007/03/28: Pkt 3 rec. @ Montreal Consulate

2007/04/12: Entered into system

2007/04/19: Medical

2007/07/25: Phone call, interview Aug/Sept. Email, at least 6 months for interview

2007/08/01: Phone call, 5-7 months

2007/08/08: Phone call. INTERVIEW

2007/08/16: Interview letter arrives.

2007/09/03: My baby girl leaves for Trent University

2007/09/12: Interview@8:15 APPROVED

2007/09/19: Visa received in hand

2007/10/08: POE Sarnia/Port Huron

I think all that matters on that form is what you print off and mail/hand in. I don't believe that it is electronically filed. You're probably just fine. Don't Panic!

1-12-07 mailed to CSC

1-22-07 DHS cashes the I-129F check

1-23-07 NOA1 Notice Date

1-26-07 NOA1 arrives in the post

4-25-07 Touched!

4-26-07 Touched again!

5-3-07 NOA2!!! Two approval emails received at 11:36am

5-10-07 Arrived at NVC/5-14-07 Left NVC - London-bound!

5-17-07??? London receives?

5-20-07 Packet 3 mailed

5-26-07 Packet 3 received

5-29-07 Packet 3 returned, few days later than planned due to bank holiday weekend

6-06-07 Medical in London (called to schedule on May 29)

6-11-07 "Medical in file" at Embassy

6-14-07 Resent packet 3 to Embassy after hearing nothing about first try

6-22-07 DOS says "applicant now eligible for interview," ie: they enter p3 into their system

6-25-07 DOS says interview date is August 21

6-28-07 Help from our congressional representative gives us new interview date: July 6

7-06-07 Interview at 9:00 am at the London Embassy - Approved.

7-16-07 Visa delivered after 'security checks' completed

I-129F approved in 111 days; Interview 174 days from filing

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure that happens all the time. I must of filled out and printed the I-129F 7 times before I finally got it right. :blush: You're have the most current and correct version when you print it in. You can explain it to them than if the situation comes up.

N-400 for Citizenship.

09/15/2010 Application Sent.

09/22/2010 Check Cashed.

09/23/2010 NOA Sent.

09/27/2010 NOA Received.

10/15/2010 Biometric Appointment.

01/26/2011 Interview Letter.

02/24/2011 Interview Date. PASSED!!!!!!!!

03/25/2011 Received oath ceremony letter

04/21/2011 Oath Ceremony @ 12:30PM

Oath Ceremony Completed. Now A US Citizenship.

I-130 Petition for Mother

05/05/2011 Application Sent To Chicago Lockbox.

08/03/2011 RFE Notice Sent.

08/06/2011 RFE Received.

08/22/2011 Send Additional Evidence.

Thanks. I know it makes sense to go by the one I present, but it seems nothing in this process makes much sense sometimes.

I'm SURE glad I didn't do it 7 times! lol

Hi there. What do you mean by a new barcode? My interview is this Thursday, and my DS 156 form that I completed using the one online does not print a barcode. It just says "Barcode" on it. Help! Have i completed the wrong form?

I went to http://evisaforms.state.gov/ , the website that was in my packet 3 letter. It's three pages and it's not really a barcode, looks just like a box with a bunch of black and white squiggles on it.

It could be a new thing, check your letter and see what it says.

I'm probably not the best person to answer your question, feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants half the time :lol:

I'm sure your alright!!!!! You'd have to be alright or you wouldn't have gotten your interview! :thumbs:

Jan 08th, 2007 Medical exam! --- Done! Dunno the result tho......... =/

Feb 06th, 2007 Sent packet 3 back to the Embassy with DHL!!!

Feb 15th, 2007 Packet 4 (By phone...)

Feb 22nd, 2007 Interview date!! - VISA APPROVED!!!!!
