Is it that hard to find a hotel that doesn't cost more than $150 a night in Dublin???

Man I'm having a terrible day.... I'm just thinking that pretty soon it'll be one year since I saw Dave for the last time. It's just so depressing..... and I can't seem to do anything right! I guess I'll just go eat that whole thing of icecream and cry myself to sleep!

And maybe try to find the damn hotel when I'm in a better mood..... :crying::crying::crying:

And well Dave just got home from work and just talking to him makes me calmer but still.... one year apart is just heart breaking. I know we'll see each other in June and maybe that's why I'm so upset for not finding the perfect ($$) hotel!!

Also, I have so many things to translate for tomorrow and I've been working so much! I'm a mess today guys..... sorry.

Just feel like screaming!

Have you tried searching for a B & B (bed and breakfast) they are really good in Ireland and a lot cheaper than a hotel...most are with en suite bathrooms and an awesome breakfast!!! It's worth a try....hope you feel better soon (F)

Hiya,

When i last stayed in Dublin we used a hostel - you can get private rooms - it was really quite nice and very cheap 45 pounds or less, and you got your own shower. Try finding one of those.

Sorry you are feeling so sad, it's a horrible feeling to be away from the person you love and sometimes it all gets just a bit too much. Go out and get yourself a little present or something nice to eat or a nice movie...

I completely understand how you feel. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. Another one we will spend apart. There have been so many birthdays and holidays we were unable to share and it gets so hard. It's why I spend so much time logged into VJ. This is the only place where people understand how I feel.

It;s been a year?? :(

Search google and put "cheap hotels in Dublin".............it is expensive there but I stayed at a few that were around 80 euro a night. Try the Harcourt Hotel, The Camden Deluxe, The Walton Hotel.

Hope you find something (F)

We found a nice hostel for 15 pounds per person the last time I was there. The breakfast alone was worth that price.

found this.... much less that $150

Aww thankyou for the support people! I just woke up (I logged in even before getting up!!! man I'm addicted :lol: ) and I'm still kinda depressed but I'll be fine.... Sometimes I just freak out for not being able to find anyone who can relate to these feelings I have but then I just have to post something here and get all the help I need.

I'll try the B&Bs and the other hotels and hostels you guys said.... hopefuly it'll work out! If not, oh well... I'll let you know how it turned out!

Thank you for the kind words people! Love you all! :luv:

And yeah it has been almost a year! It sucks!! Hang in there too Lorelle as I know how it feels! (F)
