How soon do you get the first response?

I sent in my N400 in 11 days ago, certified mail, it arrived the next morning. I still haven't received any confirmation from USCIS. It's San Francisco, less than an hour's drive, I can't imagine it's stuck in snail mail... In the timelines section I see that most people got their NOA in less than 5 days (one lucky person even on the exact same day!), but I assume this is the date on the NOA form, not the day it actually arrived in the mail...

So, does anyone have an opinion on how long I should wait for my NOA before getting worried and calling USCIS?

---Marcos.

I would certainly not freak over a missing NOA before 30 days.

You've got your mailing confirmation and your payment to back-check your delivery.
