timeframe of the RFE, to get approval/update

Good morning VJ, I have a question to ask those who got a RFE, I got mine in the mail on 8/13 and mailed back the information on 8/25/ they received it on 8/29. They requested a letter from him stating his intention to marry me within 90 days and passport style photos of us both because the ones we sent in were a little too big. Today is going on the 8th day and still no update with our case, should I be concerned? I have seen where people got approved 2-3 days after their RFE paperwork was received back..... Does this mean something's wrong with our case? Or is it normal for this timeframe to lapse. This journey has been a long and trying one, I know once we're approved the biggest part will be over, all the other steps will be a breeze.... For those who love to be negative, I don't need you to comment I just need information on those who've been down the RFE path. Everyone have a great Friday and weekend too

My RFE Response was recieved on 8/25/16, no response to date. Waiting sucks. Hopefully we hear something this week.

oh so they were bigger than 2 by 2 then, they seem to not like anything bigger than 2 by 2 but ifs its close they dnt put RFEs

I would say they were 4X4, but I am going to wait and see what happens. I think I have someone that works slower than others.

I belive boo was a letter of intent to marry (which he had sent) he waited the longest for rfe reply from the march filers.

We sent one in from him but they wanted it written by him. He had it in an email but because it wasn't signed with pen they didn't expect it.

What all did they want from you? Wow I see you've been on this journey longer than we've been on it. Praying you hear something things week too. This waiting game isn't fun anymore! It's draining everyday I find myself checking the app for an update and get a little discouraged by it.

Yeah i say that alot its not always a wet signature requiered but if you get the CO that didnt have his coffee that day or a stickler they may want it.- So I always say better to be safe then sorry and send wet signature.

Yes, I will be happy once this is over with. This has been a long journey. I know it will not be a walk in the park once he gets here with him being in a completely different atmosphere but it will be good that there's a large Ethiopian community here.

Then Anita, posted that it was the wrong address right after I dropped it in the box. Luckily they got it, just a week delayed. It has been a journey and I will be glad when it is over. You sent yours in before me, and you aren't approved yet. I'm 2 additional business days later. I pray you hear something soon...

I called the USCIS office today and was advised it takes up to 90 days before I can check on the case. He told me to callback on 11/29 and check about the case. I forgot how they're of little to no help at all.

Well I hope we both get approved this week. This is so nerve wrecking! It's crazy that online it says you can call for updates but you can't because they don't help with anything. We were hoping he'd be here November. I am not sure if that'll be achieved at this point. But going to continue to pray that we have favor.

My rfe notice was sent like 11 am i remember but ut depends.

No maria im gonna wait until visa in hand before rescheduele.
