AOS Interview Completed

My AOS Interview was yesterday at Dallas office. Lasted about 20-25 mins, officer was super nice and easy-going. In the end, he said he will be "Recommending this case for Approval". According to him, it will be done before the end of the day. When I asked if I can get a stamp on my passport since I have to renew my DL. He mentioned that my GC will be delivered within 3 weeks so I won't need to worry about a stamp.

So it has been more than 24 hrs since the interview and Online status still shows "Interview Scheduled". So what is the next step? Should I wait for change of status on the USCIS website?

they are slow to update status of cases

ours still says "ready for interview" for our visa interview and Adil is now 1 year in US / visa approved July 2015

So I am confused. You already got your Greencard in the mail and the status is stuck at "Interview Scheduled"?

I also had my interview yesterday and the woman who interviewed me said to look for my approval notice in the mail. The website seems like it never updates in a timely fashion so I wouldn't worry too much. Give it a few weeks and if you don't get a mailed approval notice then give them a phone call.
