Wow, it's almost been 6 months. After the 6 month mark you have the right to file a complaint with the USCIS I'm pretty sure. You should definitely look into it. I almost have the same NOA1 date as you and it only took a month to get the NOA2.

Well thanks for rubbing the timeliness of your case in my face.  I have looked into it more times than I can count, have been told it is on a security hold, and now have my Congresswoman's office looking into it.  We have to remember that the political environment over Russia in the US is much different than that of the Scandinavian countries.

Well, sorry, I did not know the details of your case. Just trying to help.

Hi

can any help on this question.

I had a sponsor and he gave backword last minute. He said he could not be a sponsor because he owed taxes. And if he did act as a sponsor the IRS would demand the whole amount of money he owed and that's what his tax preparer told him. Now I'm 5 weeks away from my interview and no sponsor

Thank you in advance

I guess you just have to find a new sponsor?

Good Evening :)

I'm new in this forum its my final hope to find answer, wish you can help me friends.

In fact i applied to a K1 visa last year and we received only one update since last March that : On April 11, 2016, they received our Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E),

since that time we didn't get any update it has been a year since we applied without any update. my fiancee called them but without any good news. however we hired a lawyer and we met for real and we gave them all evidence that our relationship is true. we start to loose hope.

all cases that applied after April 11,2016 got answers except our case, i really don't know what to do.

Can any one help us please.

Thank you.

So they received it and I believed you have been given a receipt #. Did you check in the USCIS website about the status of the said receipt #? Did you change address? NOA2 and/or RFE is supposed to be sent through mail too. It is highly unusual for a K1 Visa to be a year late for the NOA2/RFE notice even for countries with tough embassies. And with NOA1, once you check the receipt #'s status online, there is a part there where it gives a date, wherein if you haven't received any update yet, you can call a certain number and check with them. I believe that's 1-800-375-5283. Did you call that number? And even if you received the NOA2, by now it has already expired so you have to start all over again.

Have you tried going to the courthouse to get the license? I read somewhere on this forum it's the best way to get hold of your license. Also, while you're there, they can probably help you with the mistake you made.
