I just check the ceac website last night and it shows an update for 2/6/17.  DOes that mean they recieved the document I turned in 2/1/17?  They said we were approved after they recieved my fiance orginal birth certificate.  They didnt like the copy?  How long do you think it will take to have visa in hand now?  It still says administrative processing.  I purchased a ticket for 2/14/17.  That is the longest I can wait before going back to work.  Man this is stressful.  Thank God they said approved.  Hopefully someone can shed light onto this subject for me.

Yes, it probably means they have received it. It'll probably say "issued" soon, don't worry too much about it. When you will have the visa in hand is hard to say. Maybe check out the regional forums here on visajourney and ask them how long it normally takes?

How's all the september filers doing? I'm leaving for the US in 19 days! Got someone to sublet my apartment and I am getting rid of a lot of books, documents, and other items. Will mostly bring clothes to the US. Can't believe I get to live with my fiancée soon! I guess a lot of you are with your fiancé(e)s already and some of you are probably married!

She had her medical exam in Shanghai last week.  We had to reschedule the Guangzhou appointment to second week in March because the medical results were not going to be ready in time.  Still on track to enter the US  in early May.  Fingers crossed.

Just got here the other day from UAE through Fort Lauderdale. So far, so good except for the part where I had to buy a new charger for my laptop as the one that comes with it is not compatible with the outlets here in the US. My camera also faces the same issue. But all in all, things are great. We are just waiting for my travel details to become available in the i-94 website and then we are going to file for my SSN, file for a marriage license, get married and then start doing the AOS process. :)
