Yes!!! Congrats soulstriker!

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

I haven't posted in a while because I was overseas in Manila during Christmas to attend our interview with my fiancé, and then went to visit her family in her province for New Years.

Wonderful news!  Our interview was approved.  A few questions in and somehow we got onto the topic of food and recipes with the interviewer.  My fiancé and I started completing each other's sentences about a recipe and the interview just stopped the interview and said "I can tell you are in love, your visa is approved, Merry Christmas.  She also mentioned that it was really nice that I attended the interview with her as her petitioner.

That interview was on Dec 27, and a couple days ago my fiance picked up her passport and visa from the 2GO location near her province, Jan 5th there, 4th here in US.  She had it in hand while I was still flying back home to US.

All that is left is her required attendance at and stamp from the CFO seminar/guidance counseling program in Manila, then she can get on a plane!  Both of us have a few things to take care of before we can do that, so probably February or March if we can be patient enough to wait 4-8 more weeks.

Thank you to everyone here for their help and support, congrats to those approved, and thoughts and prayers for those working towards their approvals.  God bless!

Congrats to both of you!! One last step and done with k1 visa.. i read that during the interview you were allowed to stand beside your fiancee??

I don't post much but Im leaving a quick update in our case, and a couple questions.

It took us 84 days to get our NOA2 but everything it seems to be moving really fast now.

I129-F Sent: Sep 20th

NOA1: Sep 23 OCT

NOA2: Dec 16th

Our First call to NVC: Dec 29th (no case there yet)

Second call to NVC: Jan 2nd, never answered, we were on hold forever and we gave up...

Third call to NVC: Jan 4th **Case received and case number asigned in Jan 3rd

Case "in transit" NVC: Jan 6th

Case "Ready": Jan 10th

Now we're waiting for Package 3 to fill the forms online (is it necessary to receive the hardcopy? According to them yes, according what we have read some people says is not, any advice?) we already have all our documents ready except for the DS160

Im going to see my fiancée in two weeks, we're planning to apply after I come back, but we would like to have all the appointments I have to attend ready.

I have visited the US before while our process and we had no problems about it. but we have a doubt, do you guys know if our case is already in the Bogotá Embassy is it still ok that I travel to the US again or is better not to?

I had no issue before, but we're just wondering about it. I appreciate your advice ?

Had my interview this morning. I got approved! The interview went well and I had all the paperwork in order. The visa will arrive in about two weeks, they said. They asked me the following questions (might have forgotten some):

Who's *fiancées name*?
Who's this? (pointing to people in pictures)
How do you communicate?
How did you meet?
Which app? (we met through a smartphone app)
How long were you in the US when you were a student?
What does you fiancée do for work?
What do you plan on doing when you get to the US?
Are you together now?
When were you together last?
How many times has your fiancée been to Norway?

The whole thing took about an hour. Very smooth. I looked through my papers many times beforehand to make sure everything was in order. I will post a full review later!
