got approved ! lost like several hours of sleep waiting for my fiance to call me after her interview , only 9 questions , she did notice elder applicants were getting denied but the younger applicants for immigrant visas all did fine , left a small review , will be checking the ceac status till it says  issued

Just got the email saying that my passport (containing my visa) has been handed to the courier and will be available to pick up from tomorrow!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

We were just able to talk to NVC and we have our case number ?

My fiancée tried calling the first time las week and they didn't have any info, also called yesterday and he had no answer. Called this morning and we got our number but the receiving date of our case was yesterday

Congrats everyone who already have their visa with them. My visa was available already last jan.4 got busy so cause the fiance visited the philippines so we will just be able to pick up tomorrow... and Godbless to those who will have their interview soon..

I haven't posted in a while because I was overseas in Manila during Christmas to attend our interview with my fiancé, and then went to visit her family in her province for New Years.

 

Wonderful news!  Our interview was approved.  A few questions in and somehow we got onto the topic of food and recipes with the interviewer.  My fiancé and I started completing each other's sentences about a recipe and the interview just stopped the interview and said "I can tell you are in love, your visa is approved, Merry Christmas.  She also mentioned that it was really nice that I attended the interview with her as her petitioner.  

 

That interview was on Dec 27, and a couple days ago my fiance picked up her passport and visa from the 2GO location near her province, Jan 5th there, 4th here in US.  She had it in hand while I was still flying back home to US.

 

All that is left is her required attendance at and stamp from the CFO seminar/guidance counseling program in Manila, then she can get on a plane!  Both of us have a few things to take care of before we can do that, so probably February or March if we can be patient enough to wait 4-8 more weeks.

 

Thank you to everyone here for their help and support, congrats to those approved, and thoughts and prayers for those working towards their approvals.  God bless!

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

just a heads up: We filed on Set 20th, and received an RFE on Nov 11/23 for not checking a box. Sent the RFE back and they received it Dec 6th. On Jan 5th, we received our NOA2. Now we are waiting on Nevada. Hope this helps anyone looking for a timeline for filing in Oct and receiving an RFE.
