68 days from submissionnof I-129 to having NVC Number.Got the letter from NVC 13 days after and right away had medical exam. Sadly, we fall into the route of doing sputum exam which means having to wait for 8 weeks to get result of the culture. The good thing is we didn't schedule for interview yet,so we don't need to reschedule interview date. To others who are so excited about receiving the NVC number, do medical exam first before scheduling and prepare yourself for the 8 weeks so you won't get too frustrated if it happens?. This is for Philippine consulate requirements. Not sure if it is for all applicants.

I will have my medical tomorrow. I'd like to ask if the patient who undergo the medical has cough or is smoking?

I guess it's a different case in the philippines... embassy in manila dont send packet 3, that's as far as i know.

You mean DS-160? The picture upload capability is flaky at best. If it doesn't work for you now, try waiting a few hours and try again. That's the advice that was given to me and it worked.

Trying to fill in my ds120 but its not letting me upload a picture? It comes up with an error sign. Thoughts?

I'm having the same problem, I've tried like 10 different photos a million times each, tried pulling them in paint.net and messing with brightness and contrast - always tells me there's not enough illumination and/or too much shadow around the eyes, and if I edit the photo too much it will give me a poor quality error. All of the photos were made via the links provided too. I had my fiancé take another set of passport photos, we'll see if those work. Oh, I also tried using Chrome and IE. They really need to fix this problem. From what I can tell on the forums here, it's been an issue for years.

That wasnt what it was coming up with for me except when i tried a too low quality photo.

Your best bet is either scanning in your picture or trying to take another photo of it. Then use the cropping tool that is on that page because it saves it the correct size. It all started working for me again after an hour or so.

Well the embassy still hasn't received my case but it should do before my medical on the 1st of December

Also booked my interview, currently scheduled for January, but hoping to get one in December if i keep looking SO EXCITING

My fiance called NVC yesterday and we finally got our case number and that our file was sent to the embassy on 17th November! A little short of a month from our NOA2 date. Super thrilled.

I have a question - how/where do you check to see if your case is in transit or has arrived in the embassy? I know some awesome person posted it here before and i tried looking for it but gave up halfway. =P

Congratulations to everyone who have had their approvals/case in transit/arrived in the embassy! so glad that we have a community here to share our experiences.

Medical went off without a hitch! Fees are paid, DS-160 is complete, conformation for interview is in hand! Only thing left is interview on the 5th of December! I have my ticket to Kyiv purchased and will be there for the interview! Good luck to everyone!

Go to ceac.state.gov then click the check my visa status type your case no.
