I'm so happy I found someone else dealing with the embassy in Qatar. I'm not far behind you. Im still waiting for an approval (noa2). I wish I could help but I'm just as clueless. Please let me know what you find out. It will be much appreciated. Thanks

Received what I think they call "Packet 3" from my local consulate today. Looks like I know what I'm doing this weekend!

We did not make any contact with the NVC so not sure of exact dates they received it but in total it was 31 days from NOA2 to receiving packet 3.

09/18/17- EAD/AP combo card received 

09/21/17- GC Interview- APPROVED! 

1 1/2 hour after the interview my case updated online to 'new card is being produced'

Ok so nowwww I have a question about the i-134. The instructions just say to include a letter from your work and a letter from your bank if youre not self employed. Hes not self employed, and he makes enough money to qualify. He got the letter from his work and from his bank, so does he still need to provide pay stubs or tax returns, as it doesnt say so in the instructions?

Yes! Supporting docs for I-134 are form W2, form 1040 and pay stubs :)

w2 and tax returns go hand in hand , i would include tax returns just incase

supporting docs : w2s, tax returns , pay stubs, bank statements , wage/income tax transcripts , employment letter/ offer letter

I finally got my NOA2!!!!

How do we get the case number from NVC? Do they send it to me in a letter? Email?

21 January 2016: I-129F received date

25 January 2016: NOA1

10 November 2016: NOA2 (only 294 days!)

14 December 2016: Consulate received

Got my nvc letter hardcopy today =p

I finally got my NOA2!!!!

How do we get the case number from NVC? Do they send it to me in a letter? Email?

you need to call nvc to get your case number , may take 3 - 5 weeks start calling first week of December

68 days from submissionnof I-129 to having NVC Number.Got the letter from NVC 13 days after and right away had medical exam. Sadly, we fall into the route of doing sputum exam which means having to wait for 8 weeks to get result of the culture. The good thing is we didn't schedule for interview yet,so we don't need to reschedule interview date. To others who are so excited about receiving the NVC number, do medical exam first before scheduling and prepare yourself for the 8 weeks so you won't get too frustrated if it happens?. This is for Philippine consulate requirements. Not sure if it is for all applicants.

RFE was because we first started communication on Facebook. They wanted to terms of service of Facebook to make sure it was not an IMB.
