Are you all setting up interviews as soon as you receive your case number from NVC, or are we supposed to wait until it is sent to, or reaches, the embassy? I've heard all three, and some friends of mine not on here told me to wait for the packets to be sent, but I've heard on here that totally not necessary.

For those of you saying you can pay and schedule the interview once status shows "ready" on CEAC, I assume that's specific to your country. Or is that generally true for all countries? I though each had specific instructions for scheduling the medical and interview that were sent to visa candidate. I haven't been able to find any recent info on the Chilean consulate so I'm kind of flying blind here. I tried to call the Chilean consulate today and it doesn't appear there's any way to get through to a live person with the number I was able to find. :-( So I'm not too sure on process or timeline to expect.

Guys, I am sending my tax documents to my fiancé. Last year I had 4 jobs but I can't find 1 w2. Is that going to be a problem because amount showed on tax return is gonna differ from the sum of w2. My income is still good by the way.

NVC System is down since 9pm est tonight and they will be closed tomorrow for Veterans Day...... the waiting for a case number continues 3 weeks now

I'm waiting too. My NOA2 was on the 21st from CSC, the same as your's. One of the other posters on this thread had their NOA2 three days before you and I did, and their application was received by NVC the day before yesterday. I imagine we will see our applications received early to middle of next week. Hang in there, it will come soon :)

Call on Monday at 7am. That's when it usually is the fastest to get through. And they're closed for Veterans Day and don't answer phones at the weekend.

We received our case number from NVC yesterday :-)

NOA2.. 18/10

Nvc received.. 09/11

Case # ... 10/11

We have the same NOA2 date - hopefully that means when I call on Monday they may have something for me :)
