How are most the I 129 being processed so fast? Are they getting them expedited?

uscis is usually faster in the fall season , and im just taking a guess they want to go faster because of the holidays, im sure december and late november will be slugish again

Hello Everyone! Our case was approved on October 24!! So it took 24 days from NoA 1 date. When should I start calling the NVC? What is the wait look like and what should I be getting ready for the time being?

Called NVC today... They still haven't received my petition... :( :'(

I am going to call again tomorrow which will be 3 weeks. I am getting really annoyed since NOA2 -> NVC receive is now longer than NOA1 -> NOA2. I am sure that it is NOT supposed to be that way!

Is anyone having ANY luck???

that was fast. I see we have the same noa1 date. My timeline says between nov2 -6

Congrats on your NOA2. :) You should wait 2 weeks before calling the NVC. Getting the case number seems to be taking longer than normal, so be prepared to wait a while. You can look into which documents your embassy/consulate wants for the interview and start to assemble them. You can also start preparing the documents needed for the affavidit of support. The visa interview probably won't be until a while though. No rush at the moment since you just got your NOA2.

You got your I-129F approved extremely fast. Don't worry about the NVC phase taking longer than getting your NOA2. Technically, the NVC can take up to six (?) weeks. A lot of people aren't able to get their case number until 3-4 weeks nowadays. Don't think about it too much. :)

Where can I check what documents I need and what the consulate office needs? I want to be prepared and have documents ready to send. Would I be sending the documents to the NVC center ?

Is the reason for calling the NVC just to get the case number a little faster? I assume they send a letter as well? I'm asking because I can't leave my country until about March 2017 anyway (I'm the beneficiary) so I'm not sure if it's even worth making multiple calls to get the number a little faster.

Yeah, you will get the case number without calling the NVC. If you're not in a rush, there's no point in calling.

Hi everyone,

I am a little worried. My fiancé went to a juvenile. He did something when he was 15 and was put in jail when he 16 until the age of 18. He is 20 and his record will disappear in July. He did something that I cannot tell, but normally you won't go to jail for what he did. We attached his record to the visa but I'm worried that we will get denied because of this. I cannot really find any information about this, only that they don't take it as serious as adult crimes. Does anyone know any information or can help me a little bit?

I just wonder because our NOA1 date was September 20 and a lot of people are already approved and we are still waiting. ( I know it can take a long time)
