Most of the people have been nice, but the guy today was a little standoffish. I'm really hoping to get my number by the end of this week. From what I've heard, they have a number for you the day after they receive the petition. It probably depends on what time of day you call.

yeah ive noticed most get numbers right after the day they receive the case , all reps from the morning were all nice , this process sucks atleast i knew how no1 to noa2 worked, this one i dont really know, does anyone have an idea what time of the day the update their system? or when they get mail from uscis

Looking at people who received their NOA2 at the beginning of October, it looks like they're finishing up with processing those from the 3rd/4th and starting to move on to people up to around the 11th. So it does still look like the most recently approved NOA2s are taking about 2.5 weeks to get to NVC and get their case number. Just super sucky for the people its taking longer! Sending out good vibes for everyone :goofy::luv::dancing:

Technically yes, based on the timelines of people with a similar NOA2 date! Although it does seem to be a little unpredictable. But heres hoping it will all go smoothly :) I hope it does because then my NOA2 date of the 18th would mean I would have a case number between the 1st and the 8th :)

Oh I just noticed, we both had the same NOA1 date, but your NOA2 was still 2 weeks earlier than mine. Wow you had one of the fastest NOA1 to NOA2 there is i think. Just a lot of luck to it i guess!

We received our NOA2 last night (53 days).. and my fiance is currently on a plane on his way to visit me (so he doesn't know yet)..... and its my birthday. I think it's a good start to the day.

The timing might work out that I will be in Australia visiting him during his interview even....

Congratulations! Was your fiancé able to enter the country with no problem?

Approved 28 days from NOA1 Yessss!!!!!! Congrats to all the other fast approvals too!

I would say there's no point in calling before two weeks have passed since NOA2.

Yep he is currently in Los Angeles, CA waiting for his domestic flight to the East Coast.

We decided it was best not to mention anything about visiting his fiance. We both say we are entering the country for vacation when we visit each other (which is also true). I did send him the NOA1 just in case there are any questions. :)

it usually takes 15-20 days after noa2 but recently it maybe 15-25 days , im on day 14 =/ still nothing

Thanks you guys, Guess I'll start calling next Wednesday when it's been 2 weeks. Hey did you guys notice there is an expiration date on the NOA2 notice? So What happens if the interview is not competed by that date not because of the applicant but if they don't have any interview dates available?
