One of the RFE's was me. I got my NOA1 on September 21st, the RFE was issued 10/19 and I received it in the mail yesterday. The RFE just asks for me to "submit information regarding the circumstances under which you and beneficiary met to establish the relationship". Easy enough response but I guess I should have just included that information to begin with.

So how are you going to respond to it? Are you going to write a letter detailing how you met? I thought you already did that when you sent your I-129F packet. I had her write a letter and me as well and each of us signed it. You didn't do that?

For my application, I am not sure what is taking so long. I sent a letter from me and my fiancee detailing how we met and we each signed our own letters. Sent also pictures of our engagement party with her family and friends. The only thing I can think is, I have been divorced twice and I did include the final divorce decree/judgment for both divorces, but those were with american citizens when I married them. Never oversea beneficiaries. Maybe they're investigating the divorces? Not sure.

We first met through Facebook. For the question 34A on I129F (Circumstances of Meeting) I attached a statement of how we met in-person and did not include any information regarding how we were introduced. Argh I overlooked that portion. Easy enough fix.

So how are you going to respond to it? Are you going to write a letter detailing how you met? I thought you already did that when you sent your I-129F packet. I had her write a letter and me sign a letter and each of us signed it. You didn't do that?

We just got approved last night and it was 53 days.

The timeline is just an estimate, there are still about 10 people from my day of September 2 waiting for their cases to be reviewed. It's all in the luck of who and when someone picks up your packet to look it over.

Most of the people have been nice, but the guy today was a little standoffish. I'm really hoping to get my number by the end of this week. From what I've heard, they have a number for you the day after they receive the petition. It probably depends on what time of day you call.
