Hello guys! I'm kind of preparing for some interview questions and I'm worried. I just turned 18 last August, a month before we submitted the 129F petition and my fiancé is 22. Would that be a red flag or might affect the visa approval?

You're old enough to get married and that's what matters. Your age gap is very small. I don't think it will be a problem. I remember seeing another couple on this site with similar ages to you and your fiancé, and their visa got approved.

Also, have you seen the show 90 Day Fiance on TLC? A couple participated where the beneficiary was a 19 year old girl from The Philippines and the petitioner was 55 years old with adult children... So if they got approved, you guys should definitely get approved!

Don't fret... you know your relationship is genuine. You have proofs. You already have your wedding gown girl! They will know if what you have is true or arranged. ?

Quick question... When an application gets approved, does the app show the case approved immediately and do you receive a text/email right away? Of do cases get updated around 10pm and if the case shows approved at 10pm, then do you receive the text/email at that time also? Just curious. Thanks

approvals come at 10pm-11pm EST

RFEs can come any time of the day

USCIS App will pop with a notification that your case was updated

once i got my noa2 hardcopy that same night i got my case was updated text (idk why i got the text late but o well)

I'm pretty sure my fiancé still hasn't received a text/e-mail that we were approved, even though we are and have received a hard copy. From what I understand, the USCIS often doesn't send texts for the NOA2 for some reason.

NOA2 - 10/19

I'm pretty sure my fiancé still hasn't received a text/e-mail that we were approved, even though we are and have received a hard copy. From what I understand, the USCIS often doesn't send texts for the NOA2 for some reason.

i didnt get the text till the day i got my noa2 hardcopy
