Does the Beneficiary of a Previous K1 Application Have to Submit an Imbra Waiver...?

I was engaged to another American last year, had my consulate appointment booked in Montreal (I'm Canadian), but I ended the relationship about a month before I was to attend. I sent notification to Montreal, as did he, cancelling his application. In reading another thread this evening, for the first time I learned of the "Imbra Waiver" which a petitioner has to apply for in order to sponsor another person within two years of cancelling a previous sponsorship application.

Do I, the beneficiary, also have to submit an Imbra Waiver or something similar, now that I'm engaged to a different American and have applied for a K1? I was asked on my Packet 3 if anyone had ever submitted an application to sponsor me before and I answered in the affirmative, giving brief details, so I'd imagine I'll be questioned further about that either before my appointment or at it.

Any words of advice?

Thanks,

Beth

You don't. IMBRA applies when the USC has filed multiple petitions. It doesn't apply to people who have been (intended) beneficiaries more than once.

It's less than a year since you broke up with your previous boyfriend and now you are already engaged to another. That is likely to cause some questions at the interview. That should be your main concern for now.

Timeline in brief:
