6 edge plus holder here. And I have the new wireless ear buds that have no wires. No way in heck I'll go back to Apple in terms of phone. Love their computers, but that's about it.

Don't wireless earbuds generally have no wires? ???

Motorola removed the headphone jack from a line of phones a while back, I believe. As did Oppo, almost 4 years ago. Nothing new here. And Samsung 7 blows iPhone 6S away in performance and picture quality. Also, if roaming, an iPhone can't get data, but Android can. That blows...

You can on T-mobile

I think he is trying to point out that Beats is a division of Apple, it still beats...apple is smart enough to leave them alone

For the price apple charges, it better do it better. Seriously though, when the iPhones came out first, there really wasn't much else that could compete, but when you have the likes of Xiaomi selling phones that are in many ways as good as, if not better than the iPhone for a whole lot less money down, it just really doesn't make sense anymore to buy an iPhone.

Repairing cell phones is a hobby of mine, and internally, there's a huge difference in quality between Apple and some of the android phones. The Xiaomi might look as nice on the outside, but often they are skimping where you don't see it. If you upgrade once a year, you may not notice but I'd bet they don't last near as long.

The hard part with android phones reminds me of that Forest Gump quote. You never know what your going to get. I haven't used an iPhone since the 4, but then again if my phone stops working, I fix it, flash it or whatever else I need to do. Or I buy a new one with the money I saved by not buying an iPhone.

Nope. Case in point, last week we were roaming. My S7 Edge got data, but my wife's S6 Plus only got calls, no data. We are T-Mobile.

I would recommend a call to 611, customer care, to determine why she was not able to roam

I did. And was told by a Apple tech (not the first knucklehead that always answers) that it's an aspect of Apple products. Android works as advertised, IOS not so much. I was offered two options... Get back into T-Mobile service area, or sell the iPhone and get another Samsung. ;)

In my life, I tend to not upgrade things until they break or become completely unservicable.

I'm still using a 3gs.

It started to be a little bit of a pain starting a year ago but I'm trying to make it to 2019 with it.
