That's usually the update it shows when you request your original documents to be returned to you. Hopefully the agent who assisted you yesterday didn't accidentally put in a wrong request. You should call back now and speak to someone...

Hello everyone, 

I've tracking this forum for a long time. I am getting tired of waiting. I lost my driver license in Spain a couple of months ago and the DMV gave me hard time with issuing a new one. They were not familiar with the extension letter at all. The gave me a DL that expaires when my extension letter does in November 😩 Although, traveling to Europe was ok. I was worried that they may give me hard time at the airport but there was no reason to worry. I went true the emigrations for 2min, since I was not for the line with visas or Green Card/US citizens. They send me to a separate line for which there was only one more person. So it was pretty fast. 

 

 Can someone add me because I don't know how.

BTW friend of mine was a CSC May 2017 filler and he got approved. He was divorced and he was called to an interview.

Hi all, I thought I would give a little time update on my case since there seemed to be a big delay between our first approval notification and the mailing of the green card. We received our approval in the letter a while back, but nothing changed online and the card still had not arrived yet; however, today we received the email notification and the case has updated online at the same time. Here are our dates:

 

8/23: Approval date in letter

8/28: Approval letter arrived

9/14: Online status change (and green card mailing date)

 

We're still awaiting the actual green card, but more than grateful that this is moving along for us.

Good news everyone!

 

I received my approval letter today. It's dated 9/8/17. So glad it's finally here. I checked my status online earlier and it still said 'fees were waived' so there must be a delay in updating that. Hopefully I'll get the card soon!

Congrats! It look 2 weeks for my status to change to card in Production after I received the approval letter!

I'm just glad this isn't an I-130 or I-129F we're all waiting for at CSC or we'd really be tearing our hair out.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Yea, I remember how hard it was when being apart from my partner..

It's good to take a moment and appreciate that we're at this phase of the process after long time..

May I ask what is the location of your National Benefit Address on the envelop? I see a letter from USCIS on my USPS informed delivery account but I'm not sure it's the approval letter for an appointment letter for biometrics for my N-400. Would you mind to share the location where your letter was sent from? Is it from Lee's Summit, Missouri?

01/17/18: Date of N-400 Interview (7.15AM) at 26 Federal Plaza, New York City

01/19/18: Oath Ceremony Notice (PDF) received

02/02/18: Oath Ceremony (8.30AM) at 26 Federal Plaza, New York City
