Hi everyone,

Random question: I filed my i751 at VT in September 2016 and have just received my greencard. On the front it says 'signature waived' where my signature would be. It's the same style of card I had as a conditional resident. Is this the same for everyone else?

Thanks for your help!

Got approved just over a week ago. Forgive me but not sure what you mean about the NOA1?

Its the date when they had received yr application. i.e. The date on the letter which says yr condiyional gc is extended for 1 yr

Watching this intently, we're September filers too.

Is there any reason the time lines aren't being updated here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/times/

We put all our data into the timelines, but just curious if there is a reason others aren't.

Sharing my experience on INFOPASS. I was in LA field office. I arrived at 08:45 AM. Only one person in front of me. I checked in at a window, got the number and proceeded to the waiting area. I was called in to another window 10 minutes after. The officer was quite strict. After 1 minute talk he told me wait in the waiting area again. I was called out in 15 minutes again. They took only my GC, not the extension letter and stamped my passport for another year. Then I asked about the reasons why it takes CSC so long now to process I-751. And I got the answer that it happened for 3 reasons: 1. Previous transfers from VSC 2. More people filed I-751 with CSC and... what, I think, had a huge impact on the situation, and what I heard for the first time  is 3. Change of administration.

This is exactly why I went there. My extension was expiring in the beginning of September. But you may want to wait till November to go for Infopass. At least don't go too early because they may turn you away. I'd say not until after the beginning of October.

The USCIS site is not recognizing my I-751 receipt number anymore. It comes up with an error code. We had our InfoPass appointment on the 15th to get the I-551 stamp in my husband's passport, so I'm not sure if that triggered a glitch or something. At first I thought maybe the stamp invalidated the previous case receipt #, but they wrote in the same WAC number underneath the stamp so I don't thing we were assigned a new one. We also filed our N-400 on the 8th and a few days ago we received the I-797 for that but I think they're totally separate so am not sure why it would cause a problem with the I-751 number. Has anyone else had that happen after either filing N-400 or getting an I-551 stamp? Anyway, I will try to call USCIS tomorrow and post what I hear back.

Hi ! Im new in this forum. My husband received the Extension for one year on Sept. 22th and did the biometrics in Oct. 16th. I was trying the last 2 weeks to get app of infopass in Faifax to get the extension but was so busy. I called to USCIS and ask how to get solution because this field office never show available app and they told me to try in other office close to me. Today we visit Baltimore office and in less than 30 minutes they stamped the passport. I asked the official what is happening with the proccessing times in VCS and he told me that there are a lot of cases and they have to send some of them to CSC, and told us that they begun working in some of Sept. fillers and maybe take one month more. Cross fingers🙏🏻🙏🏻
