Congrats! You're lucky one. May I ask if you had received any e-notification or if there was any update on your Check My Case BEFORE you found an approval notice in the mail? I have been checking my case online but there hasn't been any updates since the day I received the extension letter (Oct 2016).

No approval letter yet, but I wasn't expecting one so soon. 

Only realized my case status was updated to 'new card is being produced' because of an app I have on my phone which tracks updates.
