I am the worst of the worst, they messed up my residence since date on my 2yr conditional green card, so I filed my remove status 9 months early, got my extension letter nine months early, follow up to notify them and they will process my case in the 90 days window of my correct filling time, i am now relying on extension stamp on my passport and the stamp is going to expire in October, I am a flight attendant so I constantly go through customs and sometimes I have to go to secondary, and it will make me late to work on my next flight sometimes, request expedite my case, submit evidence the end of may hope they look into my case because I cannot fly if I don my have my green card by Oct, if the field office keeps saying info pass appointment is full for next 14days, how can I renew my stamp? I can't even make appointment. Should I get a lawyer to handle my case? I cannot afford to lose my job because I am the only one to support the family😢now my husband is still looking for jobs since he got out from the military.

You need to check info pass appointments just after midnight, it might say there are no appointments but the appointments refresh just after midnight.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

I actually did refresh after mid night to see appointment, maybe people are fast to take them all? Should I call directly to field office to make appointment, I started to get pretty worried now

I am not sure you can ring the field office directly. I don't know when you refreshed if it was weekend it wouldn't change, try tonight a couple of seconds after midnight.  I would definitely try it a couple of more times. You can walk in if its an emergency, I know someone who lost their GC was due to travel did an emergency walk in and got their stamp.  or if you have time write to the manager of the field office saying you need an appointment asap!

Hello September filers!

My application was received on Sep 12, 2016 by CSC. I had my biometrics on 10/11/16. My extension expires on Oct 18, 2017. Based on the processing times in USCIS, it doesn't look like they will have it done before that. People have been recommending me to get I-551 Stamp on my passport to extend the GC extension. Question: I have been trying to schedule a meeting with immigration officer online ( Right Pass) but it only shows the next 2 weeks and it's always full.  I called an agent today and she said I can try going to one of the field office and see if they will schedule it there. Has anyone done this or heard anyone did it?  What would you recommend?

Thanks!!

I am in the same boat too!. My case was received on sep 19th 2016 by CSC. and my NOA says my resident status is extended for an year. Which i assume means till Sep 19th 2017?. I dont know the process of info pass stamp and how late should i wait or can i make an appointment now in june or july to ask for infopass stamp etc... can someone please give step by step instructions on the infopass stamp process and time frame to get it , I very much appreciate that . I have learnt a lot here than through any attorney. Thank you !  I know USCIS slow processing since i began my immigration journey via , K1, IR/CR1 etc so i dont mind letting them do their work in their own time and waiting , i just want to make sure i am doing what is required to keep my resident status from expiring . so please guide me about this infopass process thanks! I also remember reading somewhere that if it shows the appointments booked for 14 days then try little after midnight and the system may show them available. is this accurate?

Here is the INFOPASS website to schedule an appointment. I have been reading that you should try to book right after midnight because it refreshes. If you still cant book 2 months before your extension expires then it's worth it to walk in to the closest office and try to schedule your appointment. Your greencard extension expires on Dec 2017 (a year after your conditional GC expires - not from when they received your I751).

I think you need your unexpired passport, GC, and form I797.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your quick reply. On my conditional greencard it shows dec 14th 2016 as the expiry date. So that means NOA 1 year extension letter expires on dec 14th 2017? If so , then Wow thats good. i thought it expires on Sep 19th 2017 exactly after one year of NOA receipt date. good to know thats not the case. i will try tonight to book little after midnight, however, do you think  if  i need to wait till sep 2017?  i dont know if the whole 'timeframe' (within 90 days before the expiry date etc) thing applies to infopass stamp as well or not . If getting an appointment is a hassle then i might as well start the process sooner than the later
