Sent my I-751 and supporting documents today, September 14, 2016 via USPS Priority Express Mail.

The lady at the post office told me the papers should be at the California Service Center lockbox by 3 PM tomorrow, September 15, 2016.

My green card expires on September 16, 2016.

Am I in the 90 day filing window? I really hope so as I'm not in the mood for a denial based on a technicality!

Technically you're within the 90 days, but you should have done it sooner. You unfortunately are going to be in limbo from the 16th to whenever they send you your NOA1 which essentially extends your green card for the year while they process the I-751 (Correct me if I'm wrong)... So, technically, you're not a legal resident until you get that... so DON'T leave the country lol.

Am I in the 90 day filing window? I really hope so as I'm not in the mood for a denial based on a technicality!

Did you not get the paper reminder from USCIS? Some do but some dont, but USCIS says not getting the paper reminder is no excuse for late filing. Hopefully, the first officer to touch your case will be nice enough to start processing the day your package arrives, so as not to be considered late.

I was worried about being halfway thru the 90 day window and not filing let alone doing it in the last week.

Hopefully good news will come your way.

Technically you're within the 90 days, but you should have done it sooner. You unfortunately are going to be in limbo from the 16th to whenever they send you your NOA1 which essentially extends your green card for the year while they process the I-751 (Correct me if I'm wrong)... So, technically, you're not a legal resident until you get that... so DON'T leave the country lol.

I figured 90 day filing window means just that - within 90 days of the expiration of the conditional GC - and USCIS' receipt of the complete application 1 day before the GC expires is within that 90 day window.

Not to worry because I have no plans to leave the country in the near future as I was away for a month earlier this year (June 2016 to be exact).

Checking in. We sent our I-751 packet yesterday to VSC. It was received and signed for this afternoon. I will update when the check is cashed and when we receive the NOA. Here's hoping for a speedy and painless process for everyone.

I never got a paper reminder from USCIS regarding filing to remove conditions.

Just joining the bandwagon... our divorce was finalized today and I got the divorce decree and just mailed it off this evening with the ROC packet. Green card expires on the 18th!!! Dunno if I'm feeling depressed about this divorce or the fact that I'm about to lose my status in 3days or the possibility of losing my job due to expired papers... good Lord!!! but either ways I'll try to stay positive.

Quick question: Do we have to submit marriage certificates for ROC even if the marriage is continuing and a copy of the marriage license was submitted during the AOS process more than 2 years ago?

it is not listed anywhere in the instruction that copies of the marriage cert are needed for ROC but to be on the safe side I'll include it which is exactly what I did even though my marriage has been dissolved.

A question though. My 90 day window opened on September 13. I mailed the package on the 14. But when we signed the form, the date was the 8th of September, because thats when we were preparing and finalizing. Does anyone think this could pose a problem?

I did not submit the marriage certificate (precisely because it was not on the instructions) but I did submit a notarized affidavit from my US citizen spouse attesting to the continuing status of the marriage.

CITIZENSHIP

08/23/17 - N-400 sent (USPS Lost package, In Transit - Delayed status)
09/11/17 - N-400 sent again via FedEX.

09/14/17 - N-400 NOA1

09/25/17 - Email Acceptance - Routed to NBC.

10/10/17 - Walk in Biometrics - Seattle.

10/18/17 - In line for Interview

05/02/18 - Interview Scheduled.

06/01/18 - Interview - APPROVED

07/04/18 - July 4th Oath Ceremony.

Hello everyone, is any of you divorced?

Happy day <3 June 11 Got married, exactly 3 years after we first met (in Rome, Italy)
Day 1: July 24 sent packages
Day 8: July 31 received Noa1
Day 25: August 18 received appointment for biometrics scheduled for August 27th
Day 32: August 26 walk in biometrics succesful
Day 75: October 11 card/document production
Day 78: October 14 received text that my I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling.
Day 84: October 20 received text that they mailed my EAD
Day 85: October 21 received EAD
Day 109: November 14 received text with interview date

:dancing: December 16th - interview went well! Approved on the spot
