Copies of flight, car and hotel bookings from a number of trips we've taken

 

Letters of affidavit from 3 close friends and one former roommate (my husband's roommate from before I moved here who was still living here until a year ago)

 

A copy of every credit card statement for the cards where we both hold a card on the same account (yes, I sent them a whole box of information and these were half of it or more).

 

A copy of a joint agreement for replacement windows on the house (I'm not on the mortgage as my husband had owned the house for several years before I moved here, so this was proof that we're both involved in the upkeep of the house)

 

A copy of a check my husband wrote to cover the latest semester of my college course

 

Duplicate copies of health insurance, car insurance and tax returns from the time of marriage onwards (we'd already sent these, but figured sending them again wouldn't hurt in this instance).

also did you write a cover letter explaining why you didnt have certain things that they had asked for?

I did, yes.  I said that we don't have children from the marriage and don't plan to have any.  I explained why I'm not on the mortgage.  And, of course, that we don't have a joint lease because the house is owned.  And I explained that we have no joint loans because we simply don't have any loans for anything.  CSC received the information on 4/23 and the website updated to show card being issues on 5/3 - so only about 10 days after they received the package.  I don't know if they read all of it - there was a lot of information, or if they just looked for a few particular pieces of paper.  But either way, sending the information overload seemed to be enough for them to be happy with.

You're very welcome - please do let me know if you have any more questions.  And I really hope your approval comes quickly now.  It's difficult enough getting an RFE after waiting well over a year - the last thing any of us wants is another long wait after we send in the extra information.  Keeping my fingers crossed for good news for you very soon.

yes! its a very long waiting game! im hoping that mine is as smooth as yours! my lawyer was debating whether to put in a cover letter or not but i am insisting! I think it is better for them to know your situation rather than looking like things are just missing! thanks again! ill hit you up if i have any more questions! enjoy your celebration!

Still waiting- my wife got the stamp. Called the tier 2 officer last week and they said it would be a couple more weeks. I hope that is true... this is getting beyond ridiculous.

Hey, my 751 was approved on 4/26/2018, I also got the approval notice in the mail that day. However, I got an update saying my "pending" case has been transferred to another office. I called USCIS and the agent told me there's nothing to worry about since I was already approved. She told me all the 751 cases are just getting the same message saying they are being transferred to another office, I guess even approved ones are getting or have gotten the same message. If you are approved and are waiting for your green card and you got this message this morning, please share. I have a few friends whose 751's are pending also got the same message, thanks. Just for the piece of mind.

I haven't been approved yet. I've been scheduled for N-400 interview thou. Getting appointment date and time today as letter is in today mail. 

1 hour ago I also got a transfer status update for my ROC. I assumed they are transferring mine to my local office for combined interview but maybe I'm wrong.

I have a few friends also go the same message. One from Seatle. The other from Tennessee. It seems like it is a nationwide update that really means very little. Even the approved ones like the got the same message, I am just looking for approved folks who got the same thing for the piece of mind, good luck.

Got an update online and was mailed a letter too. The local office processing times says up to 42 months. I was hoping someone was mailed a letter and received approval without an interview.

I think this new update is most likely a system update. My three 751 applicant friends from different parts of the country all got the same message this morning, including me who was approved.
