Oh I just created an account and logged in and saw this notice:

February 15, 2018

We mailed your card to you. The U.S. Postal Service will deliver it.

You do not need to do anything at this time

The post office will deliver your card to your current mailing address. If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

If you do not receive your card by March 17, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your card by mail.

==============================================================================

So I just submitted a case inquiry and got an email saying to expect a response by May 8th!

I'm so confused about how long can postal service take.. this's so weird..

I want to thank you so much for telling me about creating a uscis account!

At least one can see the updates :)

Sorry for silly question, but which website you created the account? I'm lazy to look for it in blogs :))

I also got the same status change on April 10.  At least we know our files are not lost.  Hang in there.

You are also now out of processing time. Can you submit another inquiry for that?

Received the following notice via mail:

"In order to expedite your application, we've transferred your case to California..."

The notice came from Arlington, VA.  Here's a million dollar question, was my wife's application collecting dust in VA all this time?

At least it's not a notice of RFE and this confirms that they did not lose her app (not yet at least). Sigh Happy Friday.

I got a transfer from CSC to CSC and my mail came from Potomac. I think they just print letter from where ever there is printer paper.  I'm still waiting on 2 more transfer letters in the mail. Although the last time I put in an inquiry, it came via email with my local office header on it.

I think CSC is looking to find excuse after excuse since they have been answering to the big men from the ombudsman.

Keep me informed please

Hi everyone! Seems like most of you who got approved already received green card. I was approved on March 5 and still didn't receive it, my case status is stuck at "we are producing your card"... Wondering if someone in the same situation.

Probably for the best. A few of us around that date got cards with incorrect 'Resident Since' dates. So we're having to return them... And the process is very unclear. Some have filed an i-90, which has a processing time of more than a year, others like myself, filed a Service Request online. USCIS emailed me instructions to return the card to them, with a short letter describing the issue, and that it would be expedited (whatever timeframe that will mean lol).

For those still following with the same issue - I mailed my GC and letter via courier (UPS), and they received and signed for it today... So I'll update my timeline when I get my new GC 👍 Hopefully it won't take a year! 😫

04/19/2018 - Email received from USCIS instructing me to return my GC for expedited correction - Mailed out today

Thank you VJ and all of the active posters... You guys have helped, and continue to help us so much!

Mine's currently in IN or IL (UPS doesn't quite know lol) and should get to CSC by Thursday. I'm excited to watch your case develop :D

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

Mine's currently in IN or IL (UPS doesn't quite know lol) and should get to CSC by Thursday. I'm excited to watch your case develop :D

After thinking that I had to file an i-90 and wait more than a year, I'm sceptical about these alternative instructions lol 🤔 Returning the card with a letter to be expedited seems a little too easy, given previous USCIS experience... I hope I'm pleasantly surprised! 🤗 Good luck with yours, and keep us posted 👍

I did some google deep-diving and found someone who also got told to send it to WS 13386, though they named an officer that time. Their thread kind of ends with another poster getting told to go to biometrics, but when I did some more research on the OP, their turnaround time was about 4 or 5 weeks.

Oh well that's hopeful then 👍 I hope so... My stamp expires in June, as does my driving license - It would be great if it arrived before then so that I don't have to do another info pass appt, and I can actually do my driving license for 10 years 👍 Still... Small problem in the grand scheme - Just irritating that it's still not done with 🙄

I know what you mean! My license expires this December and my I-551 stamp expires in October. I should think we'll get our cards back within a month or so :)
