HI guys, 

I got Today a second green card. Last Friday 3-30-2018, I received the first one. I guess another mistake from USCIS.

04-24-2006 I started to work in the US with a TN-2 Visa.
I renewed my TN visa every year until the last TN visa on March 2014.
08-31-2013 I met the girl that is my wife now. A US citizen
January 2014. We decided to get married, so we got engaged.
03-05-2014 I renewed my TN visa in Mexico City. I declared that I was engaged.
06-21-2014 We got married.
06-22-2014 - 06-19-2014 Honey moon in Monterey CA.
07-01-2014 I moved officially to my new home.
08-14-2014 We sent the forms for AOS(I-130 and I-485) plus EAD (I-765) and advanced parole (I-131)
08-15-2014 USCIS got my package. (Day 1)
08-20-2014 USCIS sent me a text message that they got my case on 08-15-2014 (Day 5)
09-08-2014 Biometric appointment. (Day 23)
11-03-2014 Advance parole approved. (Day 80)
11-08-2014 I received by mail a combo card (EAD and AP) (Day 85)
11-13-2014 Letter received by mail for interview on 12-18-2014 at the local USCIS office. (Day 90)
12-18-2014 Interview with my wife at local USCIS office. (Day 125)
12-19-2014 Change of state approved. (Day 126)
12-22-2014 We got an approval letter by mail for I-130 and I-485. (Day 129)
12-27-2014 Green card received by mail. (Day 134)

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Lol, it's the irony in life. My problem now is what is the good one? Although, they have my name and my information. They have different card number. If they void one, I could get in troubles specially if I go out of the country. I will call USCIS to see what it's next.

I wondered if they were duplicate or different... Yeah, unfortunately you're going to have to contact USCIS to see which one is good. Why it's such a confusing, glitch filled process I'll never understand. All these mass updates, out of order, and no one with information at USCIS. It's so stressful, and it really shouldn't be!

Why contact USCIS, just fly with both. If the first one works, youre good, on another trip fly with both and try the other one. If it works too. You got a spare, if it doesnt work, hand it to US customs and show him the other one. If they ask explain you randomly recieved it in the mail and thought it was a spare or an updated one

Woot!! woot!!  No informed delivery, but I received mine yesterday, how cool is that? Haha.  By the way, those DHS info and app info are pretty much not accurate so PEEPS!! are still waiting, don't get involved in that hype.  Congratulations to the receivers, YAY!!

today i got the green card. It came in a priority mail envelop. The label inside is dated 4/3/18 coming from Lees Summit, MO. Finally its all done! Thank you all of you here, it has been really a huuuuuge help and also the peace of mind i had knowing i wasn't the only one waiting and waiting. Hope all of you still waiting get a response soon!

November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

forgot to mention that after i filed RFE i never got any notification from uscis. Just 10 days after RFE got the approval letter in mail and two weeks later the greencard.

oh never used that site. I just checked and i got all the updates listed there. No wonder i never got notifications.
