According to the March 17 update on that list, they sent you something. Keep an eye out for the mailman. 

I put and inquiry in on Feb 19 and mine is not completed yet like yours. This could be good news for you.

I just received email notification of approval! Approval date is 3/16, although the email didn't come through until this morning 3/17 for some reason.

 

For those still waiting: 

 

The email was from the DHS website, and it was the second WAC number. It says I should receive an approval letter in the mail by April 15th. The first WAC number still states "received". 

On the original USCIS website, first WAC number still states "received" and second WAC number (which updated a few days ago) still states "name updated". In short, my experience is to go off the DHS site for the most up to date.

Hey, congratulations!

 

That's weird, for me it was the original USCIS website that updated first, not DHS. And it was my first NOA1 number that updated, not the second biometrics number. Maybe different officers are doing it in different ways?

I would give them a call... However, you may have to wait until Monday now, depending on their weekend hours of operation. 

 

Double check that the email they have for you is correct. They may also be referring to a mailed response, which may be on its way to you.

Thank you! It's been such a long time coming for us all!

 

I guess it's different for everyone then? I've seen so many variations. Some people didn't get any updates at all... They just received the approval letter in the mail. Crazy!

Yes, it sounds like they do not have any standard protocol for this lol.

It may also depend on if the approval comes from CSC or the local office, maybe? I won't know until I receive my physical letter, but I'll update when I do 👍

Thank you guys..I had filed for the inquiry over the phone..and the lady never asked me for my email Id..I had asked her how I’d be receiving the response and she never gave me an answer..she was in a hurry to get done with the call..

i tried calling uscis today but they’re closed. I thought they were working on Saturday’s too? 

If they could update that they responded to my inquiry..they could have just updated what the status of my case was..

guess I’ll have to wait for the mail..it’s like a never ending wait!

I got the same kind of response. On the day I submitted it, it got assigned to an officer according to the original USCIS case tracker site. The next update was the approval so I'm not sure if anyone actually worked on the request or not.

So I called uscis and all the tier 1 rep told me was I should be getting a mail within 45 days from the day I filed for an inquiry and said it could be anything from a notice of approval to rfe to my case being transferred to a different office..he didn’t know what it was..

Just for timelines sake for those still waiting - I was approved 3/15 (email received) and USPS shows that I should receive my approval letter from USCIS today. It's got the statue of liberty shadow, and it says it's coming from from the CSC, not the local office 👍
