I got the same thing. Feb 26, 2018, my I-751 was moved to my local office. This whole process is so tiresome. Arrggghhh!!!

Did you by chance update your name or change the spelling on it after finding an error? Maybe you got a glitch but sounds like a good glitch if you got approved few hours later. Keep us updated.

Did you file N-400? It may speed up your case if you didn't... but it might speed up or slow it down if you did.. if that makes sense. Either way, hang in there, the road is turning a corner. There is progress happening and USCIS are trying to remedy it (alot too late if you ask most of us) but the road is going to end very soon. Chin up :)

I have no idea. I honestly thought that it was a group number. Since I have myself and my 3 children ROC, I thought the number that didn't work to begin with, just linked the family together so they couldn't touch one without the others.. I'm certainly wrong about that after all this..

I'm really disheartened with today. After 15 months of waiting, I was only a few days away from potential approval, and FML now it's been transferred. I feel that with the amount of people that got "transferred" on 2/26, that the update is possibly generic, and may not be specific on terms of physical transfer? 

 

I wouldn't mind so much if I understood exactly what the numbers meant, if I knew what it meant regarding the possibility of more biometrics or an interview, or if I could track my local office to have some idea of a timeframe even. I feel like I am in the blind now. I mean I could be wrong... For all I know, this will speed things up dramatically, and I could get approval in the next few days... Which would be great. So I'm going to try to remain positive. I'm just really really frustrated with the waiting now.

I wish I could give you some news either way, but we are all on the same boat together. Just hang in there. I feel like applying for citizenship has held us back. My family might have been approved already. Now, Seattle is processing Feb 3, 2017. I could be another year away from hearing anything, but you know, at the end of the day, I have my family, I sleep in the bed next to my husband, and tomorrow is almost guaranteed that I will get up for work. Life is going to go on and I will continue this fight with the Government agency that wants to hold my head underwater... I wont go down until I have waited as long as I can. I'm not going to give up! Join me in staying with this fight.

Yes, it's been a long road for us all. 

But you are right... We get to be with our loved ones through this part of the process - Which is infinitely better than when we were all K1 filers, and a world apart ❤️ So I'm very grateful for that. It's more inconvenience at this stage... No valid GC, having to carry around my passport, and renewing my Driver's License every other month... Minor things in the grand scheme. 

 

Sorry to be negative! I have remained positive throughout this whole i-751 process, but today... It just felt like another set back, when the end of the road was so near! But... That being said, it can't be far off now! Hoping everyone gets approval real soon 😊👍

Its all good. It has been a long road and I understand. I'm frustrated too, but as my husbands says to me... "Does it help"? LOL. 
Honestly, I would rather you vent to us than to USCIS directly, it may not go too well. 

I have a great friend who lives in Texas and he is an Immigration attorney for the University of Texas Medical Center. I did speak to him today about our case and this is what he says.... (he has a sense of humor)
"Its always helpful to have some hints that they haven't forgotten about your case and prematurely shipped it off to the cave known as the National Records Center. Maybe a successful conclusion is finally drawing near"

same thing for me. I used the wac number printed in the NOA letter and says as of 2/26/18 my case has been transferred to local office.

NOA is 09/21/16. Still strong

I think it's a glitch. I never filed to request name change after filing I-751, and I did not change my last name after marriage as well. Any way, I will see if the card will be mailed to me. After all, CSC delayed my case which has been outside of the normal window for more than two weeks. 

 

 

Did you file N-400? It may speed up your case if you didn't... but it might speed up or slow it down if you did.. if that makes sense. Either way, hang in there, the road is turning a corner. There is progress happening and USCIS are trying to remedy it (alot too late if you ask most of us) but the road is going to end very soon. Chin up :) 

 

 

I have no idea. I honestly thought that it was a group number. Since I have myself and my 3 children ROC, I thought the number that didn't work to begin with, just linked the family together so they couldn't touch one without the others.. I'm certainly wrong about that after all this..

This would probably explain why the cases are being transferred to local office. Sometime last week we made an online request asking why our case is taking longer than the processing time published. Since then the case was approved on 02/25, moved to local office on 02/26 and then added the following comments to the history:

 

"On February xx, 2018, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxxxCSC, was assigned to an officer for response."

"On February 27, 2018, we sent a response to your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxxxx8CSC."

"On February 27, 2018, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxCSC, was completed."

 

For those who transferred the case to local office, please check if you made an inquiry on the case.

My case was transferred to my local office on 02/26 too (TIGLON...............09/30/16........10/03/16......12/08/16). I did not do any inquiry on my case, neither I filed for citizenship ( N400)

04-24-2006 I started to work in the US with a TN-2 Visa.
I renewed my TN visa every year until the last TN visa on March 2014.
08-31-2013 I met the girl that is my wife now. A US citizen
January 2014. We decided to get married, so we got engaged.
03-05-2014 I renewed my TN visa in Mexico City. I declared that I was engaged.
06-21-2014 We got married.
06-22-2014 - 06-19-2014 Honey moon in Monterey CA.
07-01-2014 I moved officially to my new home.
08-14-2014 We sent the forms for AOS(I-130 and I-485) plus EAD (I-765) and advanced parole (I-131)
08-15-2014 USCIS got my package. (Day 1)
08-20-2014 USCIS sent me a text message that they got my case on 08-15-2014 (Day 5)
09-08-2014 Biometric appointment. (Day 23)
11-03-2014 Advance parole approved. (Day 80)
11-08-2014 I received by mail a combo card (EAD and AP) (Day 85)
11-13-2014 Letter received by mail for interview on 12-18-2014 at the local USCIS office. (Day 90)
12-18-2014 Interview with my wife at local USCIS office. (Day 125)
12-19-2014 Change of state approved. (Day 126)
12-22-2014 We got an approval letter by mail for I-130 and I-485. (Day 129)
12-27-2014 Green card received by mail. (Day 134)
