Hey everybody,s

I received a RFE yesterday Feb 17th, I m pretty upset about but oh well, it means that they are working on or around this date. NOA 09.13.2016. I haven't filed for a N-400.

Well my husband was active duty and we lived in base housing so we didn't have any utility bills or a lease because it came out of his pay check, I sent a few of those the only bill we had was in my name and that was the internet. I was like 5 months pregnant so I included a letter of my doctor and the ultrasound pictures. some plane tickets of vacations. Pictures of us, car loan docs, car insurance and registration, joint account at sams club, statements of both of our joint accounts.

 

But since we filed we had 2 address changes because my husband got out of the military, so I gave them the address of my mother-in-law until we found a place and i guess that s the deal. 

so they want me to explain that and want more bank account statements and utility bills and lease agreement.

My case is being delayed and I have submitted an e-request waiting for their response by Mar 9. I guess that the reason why they delayed my case is that my wife and I have to live in different states right now since I was not able to land a decent job in the original state we lived together. She did not move with me to the same state since she has her career there and it's hard for her to start her career in the new environment. I went back home to see her a lot during weekends and holidays. We took vacations out of US together for a few times. However, it looks that I have to prepare much evidence to support my reasons.

My family received ROC dated Feb 13.

 

We were a bit worried, though.  We received  RFE in late January, dated 1/24/18.  USCIS received our updated package on Feb 7.  We were surprised at the quick approval, after over a year and half of waiting.

 

We did not have a lot more info to provide.  We did have 5 years tax returns and social security's approval of my step-daughter benefits.

No 400 and infopass  Sept 2017 for 1 year at Santa Ana, CA

Good luck all.  A big thank you to all who post here and on other threads.  Great information to be found.

Finally got my card. I did not receive an approval letter or anything else (I got the text notification when my card was sent to production but did status never changed to card mailed). Just the card. Is this normal?

Congrats!Your status never changed to Card was mailed to me?My status is still New card is being produced. How long  did it take to receive  your card from card being produced?

No, it never changed. It took about a week and a day to get here after I got the notification that I was approved. When did you ger approved?

I got approved on last Wes essay.I  hope I can receive new card soon. Thanks for your response!
