Oh, ok, that makes more sense. Your post only mentioned Chicago, not Cleveland, so I assumed you were going through the Chicago Field Office. In any case, I am glad you got through this process so easily!

Hello friends! I'm a first time poster but I've been following this thread for the last 16 months.

 

Yesterday I received an update text from USCIS indicating my green card had been ordered and was mailed to me.

 

NOA: September 12th, 2016

Green Card Mailed: January 31st, 2018

 

I just wanted to add my dates and give you all hope that the long wait is finally over. I'm from the UK and have not applied for citizenship.

Did you also file N400 (citizenship)?

That makes sense @Nina91 , the filed office in Chicago hasn't been kind to combo filers such as @AK_2014 and @Kate_H. I just wish they would standardize this process and make it expedient for everyone involved.

Hey guys I just got approved yesterday. I applied with a divorce waiver and had no issues at all. Best of luck for everyone that still waiting! 

AOS from VWP

06/17/14 Sent AOS package to Chicago Mailbox via USPS

06/20/14 Package delivered

06/24/14 Received 3 emails/texts forms accepted. I-485 now routed to NBC

07/01/14 Received NOA1 hard copies

07/14/14 Received Biometrics Letter (USCIS had wrong address on I-485)

07/15/14 Walk in Biometrics done in 3 min in Los Angeles!

07/28/14 Received NOA1 for I-485 (finally)

07/30/14 Status changed to "Testing and Interview"

09/05/14 EAD approved card production

09/08/14 Received another email saying EAD was approved :wacko:

09/10/14 Received an email with the interview date for 10/15

10/15/14 Approved on the spot!

ROC WAIVER

09/12/16 I-751 waiver Package sent

09/14/16 Checks cashed
09/17/16 NOA received

 Approved: 02/01/2018

 No N400 filed

Should I start to get worried that we've been skipped? :unsure:

 

Should I call USCIS? Any suggestions?

 

Our NOA date is 9/06/16 and filed at CSC...

My NOA date is the same as yours.

Still waiting as well. I submitted the N-400 so maybe that is making it take longer...No idea.

i hope you gonna get approved really soon. but now you can make a case inquiry. i would call and talk to a tier 2 officer. i don't know why but i think you'll get accepted within few days :)

Oh really? We didn't file the N-400, though. It's just so strange, how they work through applications... oh well, let's just keep waiting :/

call USCIS and tell them you wanna talk to a tier 2 officer. don't listen if they gonna try to tell you everything i within processing time. be stubborn :)  and tell them you gonna kick their ### if they won't transfer your call lol

Sounds like it should work that way lol I will try calling them, the good thing is that we did get the passport stamp on time... thanks for the advice! ^_^
