i was refused entry to the US on this reason 212 [6] [a] [c] and my wife has filed for me must she file a waiver before i go to the interview or what should we do please help me

The consular is saying you are not eligible to enter the US due to misrepresentation. That is very serious. A waiver is needed. I would advise your wife to hire a very good immigration attorney to assist in your case.

Dont waste time if your interview is close.. It should have been filed right after your petition was approved.

Fill your timeline!!

If he is outside the US he cannot send in waiver before his Con.interview

he must get an approved 221G to file the waiver in Neb at interview,

however he can have an atty prepare a hardship waiver now but its

no good without 221G...then he can mail prepared waiver day after

interview IF CO approves the filing of a waiver...Its not a DIY feat if

one lacks knowledge .

One outside the US do not file waivers after petition....dont confuse others with

wrong info

If you are not in the US at the very moment then the process is

1 go to the interview and get denied ( there is no stopping this ) hope they say you can use a waiver

2 file the waiver and wait for It to be approved . You can file the waiver as soon as step one happens but not before. You can get the papers ready now but you must get to step one to file.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Yes if the officer decides that you qualify for a waiver then you can also overcome a lifetime ban.

actually i lied at the airport am coming on a vacation which i have made my hotel reservation and everything so the officer asked me if i knew someone in the US and i said no and after he accepting and giving me the entry i was delayed again by the custom officer to check my bag and search me so me having a little huge money on me they also stated to ask me questions if am carrying any piles and stuffs and i said no due to that i was delayed so my father who was waiting for me outside and me not showing up in time then called the immigration n asked of me so it gave the immigration to come and call me back for further questions so whiles i was still insisting i dont know nobody there with my same words and defending my way out the it turn to be like am lying to them and i filling a form which my email was there so they hacked my email and also saw i have some few friends in the US so due to all this they said am lying to them so they will send me back to africa which i didnt challenge them with nothing so this was how the whole thing went
