Is there a number we can call to actually get through to them?

Or do we have to keep using the email address?

My case is ready to interview, according to CEAC, but I have received no word from the Consulate, nor have they replied to my email

Is the next packet always emailed? or sent via post?

N-400 with Expedite under Section 319(b):

06/26/18....  Submit N-400 Case online, requesting 319(b) Expedite for overseas military orders. 

09/01/18....  Biometrics Appointment Scheduled

09/18/18....  Attended Biometrics

10/11/18....  N-400 interview (Scheduled at original Field Office in CA - we were now in VA waiting to transfer)

10/18/18....  Attended INFOPASS appt to explain my situation and have my case transferred to VA. The Military Liaison Officer in VA was fantastic to work with and had my file transferred with expedite. 

11/07/18....  N-400 Interview Scheduled (technology issue on the day forced us to reschedule appt)

11/09/18....  N-400 Interview - Take 2 - APPROVED!

11/09/18....  Oath Ceremony - *I am now a citizen!*

--- 136days, or 4 months and 14 days from application to Oath ---

Hey Jason,

Administrative processing is not a bad thing. The usual order of things is that it goes from:

1. Ready

2. Administrative Processing

3. Issued

Look at my post above to see the timeframes between the updates.

After update says "Issued" you should get an email from the consulate to advise on delivery and tracking number.

The CO at my interview said i was approved and should receive passport back in a couple of days which turned out to be about 10 business days (and it was a public holiday in US too)

You should get an update soon so don't worry but if you do get restless you can email the consulate but they will generally give you a standard response of "it's in administrative processing" or "to wait another 2 weeks".

Thanks Alejandro for the reassurance. I was mostly freaking out because it seemed to be taking so much longer than everyone else and the CO had said my fiance's visa was approved and we'd receive it in "about 2 weeks". That and...made the mistake of booking travel before we received the visa in hand. Since my post... we've received our visa!!

Hi Karlzy, not sure about a number to call pre-interview. Certainly post-interview they only respond via email. The packet we received pre-interview was just an email with attachments.

Many thanks - I finally received my instructions and my interview date - YAY!! Bit of a wait :sleepy: But at l;east I have it now ...

Did they schedule your medical for you? As I've received no word on medical. Do I just make the appointment myself?
