We got an RFE :(

I received an email today saying they mailed us a RFE today for AOS. I can't imagine what more they'd want we sent a freaking encyclopedia. What are some types of things they ask for extra. We're just curious.

It might not even be for more evidence, it could be for a missing signature or something like that.

When we received an RFE, it was because we sent photocopies of the G-325A instead of originals, without the original signatures.

You'll just have to wait to see what they are looking for.

Dont worry about that, I got 2 RFE even though I already submit all the stuff that USCIS asking. One is for affidafit support and the other one for marriage certificate. and I already sent all those stuff before. I know its kinda frustating, but theres nothing that we can do. Just patient i think. Well Good luck anyway.

I am sorry to hear of your RFE. The good thing is that this happened with the AOS and not with the K petition so you are now together. It will probably be something very simple for you to complete. Good luck!

We got an RFE for biometrics and one for the medical. We expected that.

In your case, I'm not sure what you sent, but there could just be a small bit of missing evidence. I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you get whatever it is back to them soon and you'll probably be okay.

Thanks everyone! That makes us feel a lot better. I was sitting here picking my brain and looking through the copies of our packets trying to figure out what in the world we forgot. All your posts make me feel a lot more at ease

I just thought of something. They wrote his name but not his passport number on his 693A when they transferred it. If that is the problem it won't be a problem because they did it for free.

The Dr.s office only wrote his name on the 693A. They didn't even ask me for the passport. I didn't receive any RFE's for that, but with USCIS you just never know.
