Hi all,

-In the two emails we had from NVC when they assigned us a case number, they write my name (the applicant) messed up ... like putting my first name as last abd so on .... though we put it correctly in all the documents and forms. We called and they said it will be corrected when you send the packages and attach a request with it? is this true? has anyone been through this?

- After I get done with ds-260 it does not allow me to click sign and submit? and I read something about the US selective service system for those who are between 16-25 and I don't understand at all.

Thanks in advance. :)

They reversed our DOB and we had to send letter to correct even though they had copies of birth certificates

Selective service is for man to register for militarty serivice if we ever have the draft again / at this time we do not and have not had it for over 20 years

you are allowed the option on the form to click "does not apply" if there is a question that does not pertain to you

but all questions need to be answered

are you the petrioner from the US?

i am and i filled out this form for my husband

Yeah, obviously it depends on luck to get out of there in one piece, right? :)

Yeah , i made my research and found out about that selective service and the ds-260 worked as well, it was some technical issue... thanks for your concern though, i am grateful.

No I am the husband from egypt this time. :)

Did you send personal white background photos (2'' * 2'') of him with the NVC packages?
