Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence said he will release his full tax returns next week and maintains Donald Trump will release his tax returns following the completion of the GOP nominee's IRS audit.

"Donald Trump and I are both going to release our tax returns," Pence said in an interview with NBC's "Meet The Press" host Chuck Todd to be broadcast Sunday. "I'll release mine in the next week and Donald Trump will be releasing his tax returns at the completion of an audit."

Since Rump doesn't pay his taxes I am going out on a limb and suggesting that he will never release them. @ Perpetual auditing matters.

He'll never release his returns because he'll always claim that the audit is ongoing. The IRS, by law, can't comment one way or the other on whether he is still being audited. We'll just have to take his word that he is still under audit.


Wouldn't he be in prison if he wasn't paying taxes?

Only if the IRS can prove criminal fraud.

Isn't it fair to say that most anyone who can minimze their tax burden and staying within the confines of the rules and laws is paying their share? Or do you libs on here pay more than required for the greater good of mankind?

If you stay within the confines of the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations that is true. I think Trump doesn't wan't to show his returns because it will show that his businesses are not as successful as he claims them to be. That, plus his returns probably show that he makes very few charitable contributions.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Trumps own reasons are: he is under audit, the public doesn't even care, nothing to learn from the returns, etc., etc., etc.

It is true, so far as is known, he has not broken IRS rules to a criminal extent. However, he did get fined recently for bribing the Florida State Attorney to not investigate his Trump University scam in her state. But the fine was for where the bribe money, oh, I mean contribution, came from, not for its intended outcome (no Trump U. investigation).

Let's face it, or if I stand alone I'll face it, the guy is a genius at the art of the con. Sadly for America, it's his greatest talent.
