The next 11 days are going to be tough

Tomorrow Luz and her family will be moving into their new apartment. Until today she had a DSL, computer and her Vonage so we kept in constant contact. But since she will be coming here in 11 days and no longer needs the big apartment she is in now she is moving her family to a smaller place.

So... For the next 11 days the only contact we will have is the occasional chat from an internet cafe and a few phone calls to her cell phone. I have gotten spoiled with the ability to call her anytime I wanted and I will go into withdrawal until she gets here. I am sure the next 11 days will be the longest of my life but I also know that after that we will never be apart again. This is what we have been working towards for 3 years now. It doesn't seem real yet. I will just throw myself into my work and take care of the last few details needed before her arrival. I can't believe the day is finally approaching!

The time will fly by Gary. :)

We are really busy at work right now so I think I will just work the next 11 days. I don't think I can handle being alone here and not able to chat with Luz. All I have left to do is to do a final cleaning here and to buy a few last minute items that they won't be bringing. She arrives on friday April 6 which is Good Friday so we will have a 3 day weekend to get her settled. Saturday I will be taking them to the "evil" Walmart to get anything they forgot to bring and then show them around Peoria. I still need to find a Catholic church so she can attend Easter Mass on Sunday. The following week we are talking about having a short civil wedding so we can get the AOS paperwork started. We plan to have a big wedding on the weekend of her birthday (June 10) for the family and then spend the weekend in Vegas for a honeymoon. So much to plan yet! It's going to be so good to have my family with me finally! What a long strange trip it's been!

I hate house cleaning but I would hate to see Luz start cleaning the day she gets here even more. I am sure the last 3 days will see me on my knees cleaning !
