Aug 23, 07: Biometrics

Aug 30, 07: Transfer to CSC letter dated 8/27

Sept 19, 07: EAD Approval email

Sept 29, 07: EAD card Received

Oct 09, 07: AOS Approved

Oct 13, 07: Green Card in hand

I just got 3 exactly the same emails from the USCIS, that said "On March 27, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED."

And from what I have seen here, it looks like people going through the CSC get their green card in the mail a few days after receiving this email....

I wish the visa process would have been this quick :P

4/7/08 -------> Rec'd email from USCIS showing Card Ordered, Woot Woot

4/14/08 -----> 10 yr green card in hand

Citizenship Timeline

8/20/08 -------> Mailed N-400 to TSC

8/21/08 -------> N-400 rec'd by TSC @ 10:42 am signed for by C Maxa

8/26/08 -------> Check cashed

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

***MY HUSBAND IS NOW A USC***

12/29/08 -----> Filed for US passport book and passport card for my husband

01/08/09 -----> Rec'd US passport book in mail today; still waiting for card and return of natz cert

1/10/09 ------> Rec'd US passport card and Natz cert.

Ay, Caramba!! Holy Cow!! .... I can't believe it.... :o :o

Guess what came in the mail today??

My 10 year green card!!!! :o :o :D

My old green card hasn't even expired yet :lol: It expires on April 2nd....

No more dealing with the USCIS for another 10 years, unless I plan to apply for Naturalization which I can do next year but I think I might wait awhile before I do that....

My time-line

Package sent out on Feb 3rd, 2007

Package received and checks cashed on Feb 7th, 2007

Received NOA on Feb 27th, 2007

Received Biometrics Appointment letter on Feb 28th, 2007

Biometrics appointment on March 13th, 2007

Card Production ordered on March 24th, 2007

Email, stating that a notice was mailed that they had approved our petition was received on March 27th, 2007 ...

Green Card received in the mail on March 29th, 2007 :thumbs:

I hope everyone else has a speedy process.... :thumbs:(F)

09-03-1999: Arrive in US on F1 visa - later changed to J1 after graduation

09-04-1999: Met future hubby (still can't agree on which pub we met in)

10-23-2003: Got engaged!

10-24-2003: Submitted I-129F visa petition to VSC - approved 12-17-03

02-18-2004: Medical done and K1 visa issued in London - returned to US 02-29-04

04-16-2004: Got married!

05-03-2004: Submitted AOS/EAD/AP to Boston - NOA 05-06-04

06-02-2004: Biometrics done

07-30-2004: EAD approved & received card

07-31-2004: AP approved - letter arrived 08-05-04

02-19-2005: AOS Interview letter arrived

05-09-2005: AOS interview (374 days from filing) - PR card arrived 05-12-05

02-10-2007: Submitted I-751 petition to VSC - NOA 02-22-07

03-23-2007: Biometrics done

08-08-2007: I-751 approved

02-09-2008: Fed Ex'd N-400 to VSC - cheque cashed 02-13-08 - received NOA 02-22-08

02-11-2008: "Received / Priority Date" (02-15-08: "Notice Date")

CSC is doing very well, I'm going through it right now as well and it's going fast. You can see it in my timeline.

03/02/2007: Filed joint I-751. Day 0

03/05/2007: Package received by CSC. Day 3

03/08/2007: Check cashed. Day 6

03/15/2007: Received NOA extension (NOA date 03/05) letter. Day 13

03/29/2007: Biometrics Appointment 1. (had to reschedule this) Day 27

04/11/2007: Biometrics Appointment 2. Day 40

04/19/2007: Card production ordered E-mail received. Day 48

04/23/2007: Petition approved E-mail received. Day 52

04/27/2007: Unconditional green card arrived!! Day 56

I have been checking my case status online pretty frequently... but there hasn't been any change...

but just now I was checking my email and there it was....

"On March 24, 2007, we ordered production of your new card." :D

I was worried they would call me in for an interview or something ...:P

My time-line so far....
