Will denied B2 effect F2A application

Last easter 2015 I applied for a B2 visitors visa with the hope i would be able to visit my, future wife after our wedding in the summer 2015 and throughout the F2A 2 year waiting period. As the heading suggest the B2 was denied. Will that affect my F2A application?

Technically the correct answer would be that it depends on why the B-2 was denied.

But assuming that the B-2 was probably denied under 214(b), as it seems that most denials are under 214(b), then no, it won't affect any future visa applications.

okay thanks. I dont remember exactly the papers i was given but they read along the lines of "Applicant seems to have Immigrant intent....."

Yup, that's 214(b). Very common reason for denial and won't affect a future visa application at all.
