Is she is not leaving work and her current income is still the same as 2015, then she files i864 with her current income as normal information.

Since she lives in the same house as her parents she needs to have her parents file i864a (she can do for both or one, it depends on if one meets the requirement then one should be good). She has to show in her household that her parents are included if she does i864.

I did i864 for me and i864a for my brother as I am taking his help. According to instructions on the nvc and on uscis for i864a, the person has to reside in the same house and is relative of sponsor. So I think it applies to u.

Yeah she will getting the same pay as last year as she would be on holidays or she will get work from home so the income will remain same as 2015.

Also for the parents the combine income of both is required to fulfill the income requirements. So i guess i will be filing I864 for her and then i864a for her parents. How many dependents do we count in the form as the family members there are five and myself . So do i count income for 5 or 6 people

The IV doesn't change only the AOS fee. If the AOS fee changed from PAID to N/A then your case is completed.

It's really up to you how often you call. I never call after I got my scan date what I did was to keep an eye on the ceac website for the 3 N/As

I am doing the same but since my month is approaching I was wondering if I shud call or not. Thanks mrsburgz

Are you the immigrating person? If yes then you will be included in the household and your wife and her parents have to fill out those forms as they are coming from them.

To check the requirement you include yourself and the people already living in that household.

But here is my question, if your wife is filing just for you alone then her income should be enough. Check the i864p form (which is the income requirement). However if she is sponsoring other people migrating with you then she can combine her parents income.

Do you mean Mexican petitioners (the American spouse) or beneficiaries (the Mexican spouse)? If you're really asking about the petitioners, none of us need to send a police certificate.

If you're asking about the beneficiary/applicant, I don't know anything about the Mexico process, but according to this page it does appear to me the certificate is available and would be required: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/MX.html (go down to "police/court/prison" on the left tab)

Thank you Gretch. I'm gonna look for the forum you told me. I wrote it wrong. I'm the beneficiary.

I think there's a Mexico-specific forum in the regional section where you can find people with experience in that country. There are some countries that don't need police certificates at this stage, like Pakistan and the Netherlands, because of variation in procedures in those countries.

Hi everyone. Is it true that Mexican petioners don't need the police certificate? My lawyer haven't sent it because she said I don't need it. Does someone know something about it? We got a checklist after 8 weeks waiting. And NVC only ask for my divorce marriage that they said it wasn't included on the documents. But they didn't say anything about the police certificate. Can they make a second checklist? I'm very nervous about it. My husband says that NVC should tell us that it was missing too. What do you think? Thank you!! I'm very frustrated about all this and I know you are the only people that understand.

First scan date: jun 17

Second scan date: August 16

Did you check the NVC site under reciprocity https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/MX.html

for your country to see if you need to? Also is your case# starting with CDJ or MEP? Did lawyer filing EP or it's MEP?
