Print every page for you W2 not just the AGI. Downloading the tax transcript from the IRS website is far easier and less complicated.

For that question if your physical and mailing address the same I click "yes" and it automatically gray out the section to type the mailing. I did not put N/A in that section. I left it blank.

Thanks Mrs Burgz

I really though NVC was not supposed to take more than 6 weeks. Is there nothing we can do? They say mine is still not even being reviewed. My only choice is to send it to a supervisor and take another 6 weeks? :(

Do they even check to documents before it is reviewed? I am worried I will wait 7-12 weeks for a checklist!

I'll wait one more day and then send it to a supervisor I guess...this is torture!

I just called again and the lady on the phone did state that it can take up to 6 weeks for a supervisor to review it! She said sometimes the team misses it somehow! Really? I asked why the team couldn't just put my case in front since they may have missed it! Why in the hell would they send it to a supervisor just to sit on their desk for more time? I can't believe that so many of us with a July 18th/19th scan date are having problems.

Also they lady said that the supervisor still has not received my case? I thought the cases were scanned and it was sent to a supervisor on Monday.

I agree that this is torture. They always stated the 6 weeks being the longest! I am pretty pissed right now!

The next thought is that if we don't send it to a supervisor.....maybe it would just be permanently delayed. So who know's if it is best to request a supervisor review or not? I am so confused and lost for words right now!!!!

What the heck? So they just put mid July mail in a box or something and forgot it somewhere??

That's what it seems like!! I know what you mean I am worried that if I don't send it to a supervisor then it will just sit forgotten somewhere apparently, or if I do send it then the same thing will happen and it will take 6 weeks +! Will it even get there?? Sometimes I feel like they are lying and they just don't know where they put them. This is not fair at all.

I sent them an email and a snail mail yesterday just to try to get them to look at my case? I will try emailing senators, congressman, anyone who might be able to help me. This is ridiculous.

Hello Everyone,

I have a few questions hopefully I can get some answers. :) I just paid my AOS and now I need to start gathering my documents.

1. Can I use my same proof of relationship items that I used with my I-130 or do I need to update with them?

(I was looking somewhere and it said that I should have update proof since originally filed. It has only been 3 months ( thankfully) and beside Facebook and text messages I don't have much else.)

2. Does my husband need to send me a copy of his birth certificate and passport?

3. Do we both need police certificates (Is it the same thing as a police report )?

4. What does U.S. status mean?

5. I have our marriage certificates. Does my husband need a photocopy or can 1 person bring them to the interview?

Thanks any answers :star:

1. Well it doesn't make sense to take to interview what they already have. You should be taking updated evidence since you filed. Especially visits ore pics and such.

2. Is he the petitioner? It's not necessary

3. No. You really need to go to the 1st post and read the NVC process wiki.

4. Means your status in the US. If you ever been there. It's a N/A

5. You need a copy of marriage certificate sent to NVC (please read the NV process wiki....1st post). You can scan it to your husband. The original you will bring to interview.
