Does anybody have an answer about this?

Hi Albano, the first time I sent my documents they were send them to a supervisor after 6 weeks and on the 8 week I received a checklist, now I'm on my 5 week of my second scan date and I haven't received nothing yet. So, I can't tell you something about it but our cases are similar. Please let us know what happens in case I need it. Thanks and God bless you.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I recently renewed my passport and did a police certificate for it as well. So i read somewhere that i can collect that from the passport office in that case. Is that true ? Can i do that ?

Yes, for India we are only required to get PCC for our local Passport Office. If you recently updated your passport, than you should get PCC within a week.

Hello Karla,

Today I woke up and I checked NVC site and my AOS turned to N/A. I think that's a CC for me but I'm waiting to call them and verify :) Hope you get yours ASAP. I now this process is so stressful :( Since first scan date I waited 110 days (15 weeks and 5 days). Wish you good luck :)

I would call again , contact congressman or senator from your state

Yeah I thinked about that but I waited to end this time-frame. I didn't want to push thing up, just afraid that if I contact my congressman things will be not normal. But thanks for your comment :)

That's a long time to be gathering docs.

yeah PCC in 3 different countries is quite a lot of work. and being overseas doesn't help as well in getting home country docs either but God is gracious finally moving forward :)

Complete agree with you. Just make sure you have all the correct documents first time so you don't get a checklist. This wait will be worth it. Good Luck!!

Wow!! I'm happy for you! Congratulations! I don't check ceac site because I really feel disappointed and frustrated when I don't see the N/A. But thank you for your wishes. I'll check next week! And let you know. I'm on my 15 weeks and 2 days since first scan date. So I hope I'm the next. ??God bless you

I'm in the same boat as you ... 3 countries to collect documents for. Waiting on 2 police checks and about to submit the other request. They like to make it difficult. But we shall get there!

Okay i understand that. So do we require to directly go to the passport office or we need to apply for it online from their website itself. Please let me know about it.

Thanks.

Yes some do release it fast but some 2-3 months window. I am actually taking the chance of sending an Old PCC with the recent request for an updated one. Since the other PCC's earliest release is still tentative October and most probably November. I'll soon find out if bringing an updated one in an interview will be approved. Wishing you well. And yes we will get there :)
