Mine didn't take 6 weeks. I-130 approved 3rd august. Sent to NVC 18th august, case number 8th sep.

Mine has left USCIS August 4 but still not received by nvc so almost 7 weeks here and then the 2 to actually assign numbers

I think it is different for each case. August 3 approved from uscis. I'm just getting a case number on the 15th

You should send an enquiry. On the NVC website there's a secure form for enquiries, I hear back within a few business days when I email them there.

My case was sent to NVC September 1st. Still not in their system. Getting a little bit desperate. I hope we can spend our first christmas together in the USA this year.

Unfortunately we already tried that but because they still haven't received they have asked us to scan our NOA2 when we reach 8 weeks

I believe each case is really different but lets continue to be hopeful. I havent submit my AOS and IV since I completed my DS260 last August due to delays in PCC. Praying with you and for you guys. Things happen for a reason. God Bless!

I'm hoping that my RFE issue gets resolved quickly!!! today is my second scan date so the waiting game officially begins agains. this is so frustrating, And i can't travel in December nor January due to work, and I am really hoping to spend my first christmas in america with my hubby. it is true this process is really about luck and checking documents 1000 times and even with that you can still end up a bit unlucky.

My case was also approved last Aug 18. Yet the NVC told me to wait until 6wks for us to get our NVC case number. This must be really upsetting.

Finally got our documents sent after a bit of a delay! Scan Date 19th September . I hope these next 6 weeks go fast...
